Some of the stuff said against him doesn't make sense either. Like hes trying to water down the fans and kill the atmosphere - this said about the guy who actually pushed for a standing section to be built, done it and then let the Green Brigade dish out the tickets for their section of it themselves all the while trying to kill atmosphere :97::43:.

If Lawwell was as smart as we think he is, that sounds like the exact pposite of what he'd do if he wanted to kill off atmosphere and water down the fans. Especially as it would be very easy to have said a Standing Section will never be allowed and done nothing to try and get one and said they cannot sell massive areas of season tickets to one group as fans already sit there - instead fans were chased out of seats they'd sat in for years.

I think some are overly harsh. Then again, he and the board have deserved the stick at times...swings in roundabouts for me.

I just think it is natural for many working class fitba fans not to take to a guy in his position I suppose as well:56:Jammy *. Important to acknowledge the job he does though and to try and see the bigger picture some of the time.

TBF there was a push for a standing section before he got onboard, obviously wouldn't of went ahead without his say so but building a standing section means * all if you ban everycunt standing there:fear:

I'm no fan of Lawwell, but for me Bankier is worse. For him to brand our fans criminally racist after the Palestinian display should have seen him out the door.

People need to remember that the likes of Arsenal have been trying to poach him for years.

He's a tremendous asset to the club and has been fighting his balls off against uefa's inevitable super league.

even the prospect of losing him is detrimental to us.

Plus he likes to laugh at the huns.

The board have done nothing but their best for certain fans groups.. If we genuinely wanted to disband them and get them out of the stadium then we would have done that and not given them their own section and then bent over backwards to make a standing section for them to remain there.

The guy is fantastic for the club. Even if the plastic rebels on here would rather the Green brigade ran the club.

Yeah, it's all black and white. Every opposing opinion on here are plastic rebels that want the board out. Very diplomatic.

I don't know what particular opinions you are talking about? The green brigade would love fan ownership. The board get in the way of that, so creating this whole war with the board is exactly what they are looking for. Clear as day.

That must be repeated the only people causing conflict within the support are the green brigade and their problem with authority.. It's no real surprise that a lot of internet rebels see eye to eye with them.

Aye mate the GB banned themselves, all one big conspiracy, the guys in hi vis jackets harassing people all GB members. All Celtic fans would be happy just to sit in a quiet ground and watch the football almost like our living room but colder and chairs that aren't as comfy. Glad someone's seen the light:fear:

So the there is no grey areas? You agree with security blocking stairwells?
Hassling young fans with no GB in attendance on Saturday. Happened after Motherwell ban as well. Knifing in hospitality has been played down. Silence after praise from around the world over Palestine display. Something Peter was happy to praise on the club on his visit to Saudi. No tickets for Linfield.
List could go on. But for you it's support the board or you don't support the club. Hence turning you into your own narrow minded parody of an internet rebel.

Of course their are grey areas mate... There are grey areas on almost every argument you will have the world over. The problem is there are one side of this particular argument who are making problems for themselves.. There are a few simple rules to follow.. No offensive banners that brings financial penalty on the club. Don't infringe on safety.. They keep breaking these rules mate so how can the club possibly come out in support of them?

That's not my attitude at all! I'm just pointing out the mentality of some of our online support.. I'm not saying they shouldn't support the club at all. Just That their mentality is destabilising the club at a time where we should all be enjoying the football.

If you don't do anything out of order then it shouldn't be a problem?
