    My thoughts exactly mate.

And that wee sleekit McCoist knew this fine well when he provoked him.

Exactly, Celtic have had 1 red and 14 yellow in the 5 games against them (an average of 3 cards per game) this season the huns have had 4 red and 24 yellow, or otherwise just over 65% of the cards, the problem is with one team

This from The ET today - just showing that no Celtic players will be disciplined further:
    SNAPSHOT:

The SFA, meanwhile, were today poring over the reports before determining what charges will be brought.
Lennon and McCoist appear to be straightforward. No Celtic players are in trouble – but Madjid Bougherra and El-Hadji Diouf could face retrospective punishment with Regan determined to esnure that the SFA are dealing swiftly with this matter under serious pressure from the police and government to send out the message that misbehaviour from players and officials will not be tolerated.
As it stands, Bougherra, Diouf and Steven Whittaker – who were all sent off – are suspended for the first Scottish Cup tie of next season.
But after manhandling ref Murray when he tried to give him a second yellow card, Bougherra is in hot water and could face an additional suspension once the SFA decide what punish-ments can actually be brought.
Likewise, Diouf could face penalties for failing to leave the field after he was red-carded at time up.
With 10 yellow cards, and three red cards, Rangers as a club could also be charged – and most probably fined – for failing to control their players at Parkhead.

A further stat provided by sky sports news yesterday highlighted that in the last four seasons there have been 12 red cards in total in the old firm games. Celtics share of this was 3.

See if they get additional punishments, will it be in the league as well?

By the way, the SFA are starting to become fairer. Regan seems to be a fair guy; even if I do disagree with his comments after the game.

Hope this means that Lawell will finally get the praise he deserves.

On a technical / Legal point as this incident happened after the cup tie was over what would it then mean for him in terms of what games he misses, after all he wont be here next season.

He would miss Scottish Cup games the next time he played in Scotland I believe. Nothing else.
