I don't know if he's the caretaker or permanent manager though?

Think his next move will be in the Prem.

    Good luck Pep.

Legend, despite having the face Mourinho's anti-football he carried on with dignity and always played his way, the Barca way.

hugely influencial in modern football and a revolutionary for things to come.

Also arguably is the reason Messi is the player he is today, he was brave enough to build a team around the 21 year old back in 2008 and has been rewarded with great success

They play for CFC just to reach the EPL. No love for CFC as deluded fans think

Pep is a legend. He is a fantastic manager and it was the pleasure to watch Barcelona plays while he was their manager. I wish him all the best and I remember when I was a wee girl and I lived in Federal Republic of Yugoslavia when NATO bombed it in 1999. Pep was one of the sportsmen who was against bombing and protested in public.
    Gràcies llegenda!

Where do you think he should go next?

Would like to see him going to a less fancy team, like how often do you see one of the great managers going to a smaller country?

He should go to a team like Ajax, stay there for 2/3 years and try and win 2/3 in a row and then go on to a team like Bayern before going to Italy or England.

Would be very shocked if his next job is not in the English prem.

I'll be shocked if it is. I just cannot see him as an EPL manager. I don't mean he hasn't got the ability - he most clearly has - but I just don't think it's a very good fit for his style etc.

Well, he'll not go to Ajax, anyway. Frank De Boer is attempting to be like him there, already. :56:

I'd be quite surprised if he doesn't take a very long spell out of the game. More than the year he's already planning. There's too much baggage at the top clubs in Europe, at the minute. It's going to be * to manage any of them with UEFA introducing Financial Fair Play. Wenger is already cracking under the stress.

Arsenal would be the ideal club to join, as they're the best run in Europe, but the Frenchman has the job for life.

I think he should succeed Ferguson at United, but maybe wait until they've shored up their money leaks.

Liverpool would be an interesting one...

I dont think hes the type of guy though who just wants to win all the time. I could see him at a smaller team like Leverkusen, Arsenal, Napoli or that.

I dont think hes one of the Cappello, Mourinho, Ancelotti type managers who just keep going from big job to big job where they have money to spend and are paid £millions a year.

I know cant see him at Ajax at all either but was just meaning a less fashionable team like Arsenal or Liverpool. Not one where he can just step in and spend £80million and be going for the League but one he will go to and attempt to improve them over 2/3 years.

Id imagine he will know of a lot of good players in Spain who he could sign for a decent team and have playing "the barcelona way" for him. Guys like Banega and Valero for example.

Pep is a legend and a great manager who will only get better. He will be sadly missed at Barcelona, hopefully he doesn't ruin it by going to Chelsea.

If wenger leaves for Madrid I'd like him at arsenal.

I'd love to see him at a club like Liverpool, to be honest. It's been such a long time since they played football even resembling an attractive style.

Dalglish needs replaced, and Pep is the kind of person who the fans would take to 100%.
