That's one thing we need to stamp out is the * footing about. It seemed to skip a generation under MON.

Mc Geady needs to take his head out his own * , if he could just work on his game and learn to cross a ball and strike at goal he could well go on to be 10/15million player . but right no hes around 4/5 mill .

All the best players in the world work on there skills , he works too much on his foot work and tricks and not enough on the final ball , look back to Ronaldo when utd signed him it never took Fergie long to get him to cut the * around out and work on the important parts of his game .

The reason we lost is because we are not match fit. They've played 15 league games, we've played 3 friendlies with a new manager. It was our first game at home this summer. There is no way - no way - we could have been adequatley prepared. Mowbray said as much himself.

We conceded a goal by lack of sharpness in defence. A pre-season type goal. Bad, very bad, but not a disaster. The pace of Kokorin and the fact we're a good 5 months behind them caused all sorts of problems, and we knew it would.

For 70 minutes we were pounding them. This team can be beaten and had we had time for a few more games before it we would have beat them. We can, and I'm sure we will, have them in Moscow.

Fortune needs time to settle, get into the flow and bag a goal to get him started. Same for Fox. NGuemo looks right at home and I'm excited about him now. Other players will need time to find their feet after the break.

I don't think it was all doom and gloom considering it was our first competitive match with a new manager in charge.

Some players obviously have to up the anti because they just didn't perform last night, others looked in decent shape.

I'm excited about NGuemo, he looks like the exact type of player we've needed.

It was a sloppy goal to concede, but something that can be worked on.

Strikers looked a bit goal shy, but match sharpness should hopefully sort that out.

It will be tough in Moscow but there's no reason to think we won't be able to score and put them under a bit of pressure - they looked the better team for the first 20 mins when we were finding our feet and the last 20 mins they seemed to handle everything we tried easily enough when their match fitness would come into play.

was at the game and thought everyone had a good game apart from fortune mcdonald and donati. we had a lot of the ball but lacking the cutting edge up front we seem shot shy when we got to the edge of the box then start palying the ball sideways. they sat back after the goal and tried to hit us on the break all in all we played quite good in my opinion

Hinkle was superb. Best player on the pitch. Good to see his crossing is as good as ever. And in defence he was faultless. His positional sense in second to none. He can tackle and head a ball and has pace to burn. He's been this good for ages now. A player at his peak. If your not sure have a look at the re runs of last seasons games and see how many times the opposition attacked down his side of the pitch, and how many goals were coceded from his side

Any club scouts reading this, make celtic an offer for him now. His value can only go up!:31:

I take it ur having a laff ?? hahahahahaha Hinkel was raped out there last night ! Naylor put in an ok performance but Loovens and Hinkel were abismal !!! N'Guemo was a shining light in midfield last night - cant wait until Brown and him are on the park !! I agree with earlier posts that we should give Fortune' a bit of time to settle and a couple of goals and he will be banging them in ! Donati was a joke too - a couple of great long crosses but then straight after gives the ball away with a sloppy 10 yard pass !?? Yet to convince me. macGeady was tired in the 2nd half and on the other wing Maloney had a stormer - Lets bring it to them in Russia and really * them up !!! Hail Hail :celt_2:

I thought we were always going to find it tough against a team that had to be no mugs, considering the league there in, and were well into there season all there players were match fit and more importantly match sharp.
My single most dissapointing thing is our cutting edge, that was what cost us the league last season, or inability to take our chances in front of goal.
I hope that this is down to just a lack of sharpness and it will change, but i still think we need a clinical finnisher, the problem being that costs big money.

it defo wasnt celtics worse performance but also wasnt one of celtics great ones either we still have the same problem as last season though not taking our chances which is vital in these games

am abit worried about the new signings esp fortune but il still give him a chance even though he did miss a sitter

We at the game myself. * * off. Missed 1st 5mins of game. Saw their goal, how that got in Ihave no idea.

Once thay had that crucial away goal we just couldn't break them down. Maloney & Mcgeady went on about a dozen runs down the wings between them but the midfield and defence was too fecking slow to get the ball to them. which resulted in end of attack.

Fortun'e What a waste of 3.8mil he is. I hope i'm proved wrong but i think we've spent good money on a dud. I would have started with McDonald & Killen. Both have been scoring some good goals in pre-season.

N'Guemo I think we have a gem there. Very consistant. challenged every ball and when he saw a run he would make the pass.

Lets just hope we can find that finishing touch over in Russia and bag at least 2 goals over there.

Dinamo does strike me as an attacking team. quite happy te sit back and brake on the counter.
