Probably just me clutching at straws, but what about Bougerra on McDonald too? The FK went Rangers way in the end but Bougy was all over him
-
I thought it was, Whittaker caught him from behind and stopped him hitting the shot. Were never going to get it at Ibrox though.

I thought at the time it should have been cause otherwise Skippy would have got his shot away but looking at it again, it would have been soft.

Looks like Skippy kinda of caught his leg on the ground. Seen them given but would have been fortunate.

It was a 50/50 but ultimately, the referee did NOT cost us the game today.

Whittacker came through the back of his man. Anywhere else on the park it's a foul, so it should have been a penalty, soft or not. Fletcher got done for the same thing!
-
I thought it should have been a penalty.
-
It should have been a penalty but like it was said before,we were NEVER going to get a penalty at ibrox.
-
Whittaker put his knees through McDonald, there's no doubt it was a penalty for me.
Whittaker immediately looked at the ref, and held his hands up, often the reaction of guilt. -
Defo penalty for me, comes from behind and barges into him!!
The ref was pretty poor imo, too inconsistent, booking hartley in 1st min was a joke (especially with the fact he won the ball) but to let dailly away with the exact same foul-in a better attacking position against mcgeady and also a few bad ones from edu is poor!
The thing that annoys me the most is that mcdonald got booked for kicking the ball away against aberdeen, other people on here mentioned boyd doing it against hearts, and again today miller and especially edu get unpunished for it!
BUT ITS NOT THE REFS FAULT WE HAVE BLOWN THE LEAGUE!! :31: -

I thought that the whittaker one was a penalty but even more so the Bougherra one. And not really sure why Shaun Maloney was called back being one on one with last defender to give them a free kick???
The ref was *. Totally inconsistent. If he was fair and honestly felt his bOOking Hartley was fair then Miller should have been sent off. His tackling was all over the place AND he was raging at the ref at one point.
I don't get what anyone says about paranoia but this ref didn't want celtic to win. -
Same as last year in the 1-0 game at Ibrox, where Brown got clattered in front of goal and we lost to a late first half goal...History repeating itself, I just hope we can somehow still * the title, so that part can repeat itself too.

50/50 IMO
-
i thought it was a pen, but the simple fact is that we were no where near good enough on the day
-
in the end whether or not we should have had a penalty or not doesn't matter (erm...we should have btw) we lost and it was because we did not create enough and we were really poor throughout.
-
I agree, Whittaker took down Skippy in the box when he was away to shoot. He didn't even go for the ball he just shoved him to the ground.
Bougherra on Skippy aswell, he was pulling his shirt and wrestled him to the ground.
We would never get these at ibrox and after the ref booked hartley after 2mins for a good tackle where he won the ball i knew it was going to be a bad day and we would get nuthin! :31:
