I'm genuinely baffled of the opinion every single professional football player should be equally capable of scoring a penalty thus it doesn't matter who hits it.

Might as well toss a coin for penalties, free kicks and corners.

But then... who would toss it? :fear:

I think it should be Broony, he's got a lot of "dig"...

    ^^^ IRONY ALERT ^^^

We once won a European tie by the flip of a coin.

    Think it was against Benfica.

Doesn't matter who flips the coin, every professional footballer should have equal ability to use their thumbs :bbpd:

Some might find this a strange idea, but I've always kind of thought that goalkeepers would make the best penalty takers.

Training can turn blasting balls at full force into a routine. And penalties blasted at full force can't be saved, unless the keeper is absolutely fearless.

They deinitely can be saved and have been countless times. Anyone can blast a ball, it's upto the player to have the skill, finesse and nerve require to put it in the right place in the big pressure moments.

Brown only had the nerve to hit them, and he was fine until he began to try doing it the ˝finesse˝ way.

I would go for Mulgrew. I found it very strange when Brown started taking penalties in the first place. 2 missed pens on the bounce certainly warrants a change of taker.
