Hooper should take them. He's getting his form back and should be up for the responsibility. He's a goalscorer and will want more.

I like a forward to take my penalties, so in the absence of Stokes, I would go with Hooper

Chose Commons but sure Mulgrew would do as well.

I'm the opposite. For me, keepers don't like left footers taking pens either. Plus Mulgrew has such a good left foot...think he'd be class personally.:celt_2:

ive always been of the opinion that the penalty taker should be a cocky/arrogant sort of player , has to be commons for me
was surprised to see brown hitting that today ,i thought the penalty taker stayed the same until they missed

honestly think Broony. He could score the next 10. We rush too fast when a player has had a bad week

I agree that Broonys pens are a bit easy to read, same side footed shot rather than mixing it up with some power or heights in either corner.

I would have Hoops or Commons back on penalties myself, maybe see Miku with the next one if he is on as he does seem like a calm player.

Always so composed when he has an opportunity. I think he would be the same from the spot.

Mulgrew, Commons or Stokes for me. Mulgrew is class at free kicks, so I don't see why he wouldn't be good at penalties. Commons has missed one, scored one. He was a bit unlucky with the miss as he slipped, which I think shows that sometimes we can be too quick to dismiss penalty takers when they miss one. Stokes would be best for me, he's missed one or two I think, but he's also scored a whole load (think he scored quite a lot in Lenny's first season when we had loads of penalties) and was also good at them for Hibs as well.

Voted for Mulgrew, but if Tony Watt is on the park I would let him take them.

Voted mulgrew... However i wouldnt mind seeing hooper or commons back on them!
Also if we're cruising in a game and get a penalty, i wouldnt mind seeing one of the new boys take it to get them off the mark!
    Ledleys a decent shout aswell!

Why are so many folk saying Mulgrew? Don't think Charles has ever took a penalty before for us!
