Not a penalty for me, would have been soft if given. The reality is the players didnt give enough, Scott Brown and forster are the only players that gets pass marks for me. Hooper, Stokes and Forrest our main attacking players played as if they couldnt give a * yesterday. Losing the ball and throwing their arms in the air and just walking away while the ball was still in play. The CIS cup may not be a prestigious trophy but thats what you play the game for, to win trophies

The players have the biggest chance EVER next sunday to show they have the mental strength and character and win the league at Ibrox.

I think a 26 game unbeaten domestic run already proves they have the mental strength.

This shows why it wasn't a penalty best. The other gif shows the contact which was there but look at Stokes left foot just before he goes down. No contact on that foot but he bends it down to drag it along the ground and go down. He could have easily stayed on his feet and was definitely looking for it.
Now whether you think he should be giving the penalty for the little bit of contact is going to be down to the opinion of the ref but for me it's really not enough to go down like he did. If he had stumbled forward or something after the contact i think it would have been give but going right to ground for it was too much.
Shame as well because it looks like if he tried to kind of slide forward he could have got the shot away and scored.

I don't think his foot is caught between the defender's legs at any stage. Sorry bud, but I just don't see it.

If that incident had happened in our box and a penalty had been given, I'd have been fuming.

It was a definite penalty, there was definite contact. Stokes embelished going down.

It was still a penalty however.

no penalty for me and too many players looked as if they were running on wet sand and towing a caravan.

You can actually see him pull his leg back to make the most of it. I can't tell from the couple of GIFS if there is contact or not, but i'm 95% sure he played for it and went down under the most minimal contact. Alright sometimes little nicks can cause you to go down but i'm almost certain he didn't have to and i'm almost certain he dived.

Stokes dived the main angle you want is the one that was live on the bbc from behind the goal this proved it was a clear dive . Was shocked last night during the highlights they never showed that view again .

Well the only foot he drew back was his left to fake a shot.

No you can see his right foot go backwards at the point there may have been contact, you can tell he made the most of it.

I genuinely believe if that had been a Rangers player going down like that in the last minute of the cup final, everyone would be slating him.
