    am glad Lenny and Thommo have commented on the resemblance of his style to a peak-period Magic Zurawski. Very similar style IMO. Combines really good technique with good strikers instincts and scores both belters, tap ins and headers. Its a shame zurawski lost it after a bad injury with Celtic because he had a period when he was a very classy striker for us. I have a feeling this guy may well be the best striker at Celtic when he arrives.

    Couldn't agree more.

    To the people who said Hooper definitely wasn't going to be the one losing his place, I'm curious as to why you think that? Stokes has more goals right now and his play seems just as good to me.

    As to Pawel--he had a GREAT goalscoring record in Poland, a traditionally defensive league. So lets hope he's as good as that record suggests.

    I love Stokes too, hes a brilliant player, but Hooper is way better vs the Huns and in Europe.

    The fee was believed to be around 2 million euros (polish press and transfermarkt.co.uk), but his contract was expiring in just 6 months so it was the last moment for Wisla to cash in for him - they only accepted such a low offer because they couldn't afford to let him go for free in the summer.
