his goal scoring record in Poland is immense, its quite a low scoring league and almost 1 in 2 is really good there. He hasn't scored in Turkey but he's been getting five minute cameos so you can't really judge him based on his record there.

Loan is ideal, we needed another striker, one with international pedigree and who can actually head a ball!

Hopefully he can chip in with some goals for the rest of the season :50:

I've liked the way celtic have conducted their business, quietly, with no media hype or fanfare unlike the muppets across the city!

I trust lenny wi his signings seems to find some great relatively unknowns, I'm hoping that Brozek, Ibrahim and Fojut are all as good as Kayal, Vic, Izzy etc

If he hasn't played much since moving to Turkey, hopefully he'll be fit, fresh and hungry for action. :50:

I wouldn't be surprised if this lad walks right into our first team if he's fit enough. A nice signing by Lenny.

I certainly would be! Not that it wouldn't be nice, but with Hooper and Stokes having 33 goals between them this season, it'll be hard for him to dislodge one of them. Definitely a good addition for squad rotation and match congestion however, especially as we approach the second half of the season.

He Certainly won't be dislodging Hooper. However I don't think Lenny is overly impressed with Stokesy. He said in his interview today that he sat down with him last week and and told him He needds to see more from him. He certainly got that today but there are certain games where Lenny clearly fancies Sammy ahead of Stokesy.

I totally get where your coming from with breaking up Stooper. Though if someone came in that performed better than either of them then thats only gonna be a great thing for the team. Another point is that if anything happens to either of those guys we don't have anybody we can rely on to bang goals in upfront and this guy might be a bit low on confidence having a poor season in Turkey.

In fairness to you mate, you make a good point about the loan move i guess. I feel some of the other strikers we have been looking at would bring something different to the team as regards their style.

I truly hope it works out for this guy. Just feel really underwhelmed with the activity here. Once again we have hung about a bit too long and missed out on 2 very inspiring signings (Rhodes and Diawara) and then been left with what seems to be our 5/6th choice target. Which is probably what my moaning is about haha cos we didnt sign either of them.

Ah well it's done now so i'll back the guy! :celt_2:

    This!

He didn't adapt in Turkey, but he has enough potential to become one of the best players in SPL and his style might suit here. I was pessimistic about Fojut, but Brozek is a different class of player. Fojut = average or just above average Polish league defender. Brozek = star player, lots of goals, lots of assists.

It's all about whether will he adapt and fulfill his potential here or not.

Brozek is also international team regular, although we only play 1 up front and he is our number 2 just after Lewandowski (who is the best goalscorer in Bundesliga if you outclude penalties, and the best goals+assists in germany). In Polish league Brozek and Lewandowski were on the similar level.

    Welcome to Paradise Pawel :50:

Hopefully another inspired signing by Lenny. The way I see it is we have enough options to clean up in domestic honours this season. We do need to bring in 1 or 2 strikers as we do need to be deeper in that area with only Hooper and Stokesy providing the goals. But there is no need to break the bank in January to do this. Wait until the summer to sign a big name or two. A couple of decent loan signings will be enough for this season imo
