Wow... I personally don't think, that Russian Premierleague is stronger in all cryterias. In great Scorpions song there are such words: "passion rules the game". In Russia money rules the game. And that's not a parameter of the national football quality. I just try to say, that football is not a shop, it's a sport first of all.
I think that Celtic is a really good club, and we could see that in CL, where european top clubs had huge problems playing against Celtic. (Spartak FUN, старайся выражаться корректней, дабы не задевать ничьё чувство гордости за свою команду :40: )

That was incorrect saying it. I don't think that you know enough about russians, IMHO

    Thanks, pal!:50: Great respect!

And that the sober view!:50: That's a correct characteristic of Russian mentality. This maximalism remained with us from a Soviet period
P.S. Do not take to heart

P.P.S. Frankly speaking, management in Spartak is experiencing not the best times :31: That's why we can't compete for the great results.

I am sick of this stupid *. Money, oil
    Are you crazy?
Is that money that score goals?
Is that oil that show so much quality in the game?
Yes, you can say that it helps to buy good foreign players, but we have no top foreign players. On the other side, look at our russian players, is that oil that they have instead of blood?

money rules football now. it helps you keep the Russian players in Russia. Arshavin agent said 'not many teams can improve his (Arshavin's) wages that he is on at Zenit.' no doubt if the Russia league was not pumped full of money their league would turn out like the Brazilians, with every player of a certain quality leaving at the sign of any European interest.

btw how much do you value, in dollars, Pavlyuchenko?

Spartak_FUN, this is not a *, this is a reality (especially in our championship). Look soberly: we don't have USSR now, practically there is no ideology - money gives our "stars" the stimulus to improve their performance. Reality, that stinks like *, ye..
Russian Premierleague Brazilians even don't think about learning language, because they came here for earning money. Except Rudolfo, but he learnt russian in Ukraine

Arshavin gets 3 mil euro per year. It is not a huge amount even for average english club. Why german players play in Germany? They get good money there, not less than russians in Russian league. Whenever the star is born there (like Balak) he goes to some top-club. The same in Russia. Good players like Zhirkov or Pavluchenko prefer to stay in thier clubs than go to some average clubs in Europe not becouse of money, but becouse they prefer to play in top Russian clubs.

I suppose that after his performance at Euro his cost will be around 20$.

i'm just stating what his agent had to say about his pay. you can't compare the Bundesliga to the Russian league. Bundesliga is arguably the fourth best league in the world.

Pavlyuchenko will be around the £9.7m mark then. we should put in a cheeky £7m bid me thinks.

Spartak_FUN, Arshavin's fav club is Barcelona. Did you see that when he was a guest on Sport TV, he was given a present: a Barca shirt with "Arshavin" on the back?

Russia lost 3:0. That was fair today. Russian football players drunk alcohol the day before the match! Shame! Everybody's playing today was awful. Only Pav played his level...
P.S. BTW Anyway Russians are celebrating tonight:icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen: Thank Guus!

I like Celtic and its fans, but no chance of Pavluchenko going to Celtic for 2 reasons:
    1. Pavlo don't want to go to Sconland
    2. Spartak will sell its best player only to the top club

No, they will not sell him till Real offer £7 million. If it will not happen he will stay in Spartak. Money is not the problem in russian top clubs.

No, I read his interview where he said that he would move only to the top european club, if not he prefer to stay in Spartak. Maybe I am mistaken it was several years ago. Maybe now he changed his mind. But can you afford his wage? He gets ~ 2mil euro per year?

Dunno dunno... Most of Russian players went for the foreign championshp got "lost". I mean, really bright at the foreign club were performances of single players: Mostovoi, Kanchelskis (btw who played for scottish Rangers:icon_mrgreen:), Alenichev and maybe Onopko (it's a late hour, I might have forgotten someone). All of other players couldn't show their maximum. Remember Sychev, gone out of Spartak, where he was superb (!) (at Marseille he was shut down, as I think); then: Kerzhakov, after Spain he is not that Kerzh, what we saw in Zenit. It's just because these championships are not for Russians. Another game philosophy.
And what's to mu mind: Scottish premierleague is rather similar with Russian. If he choose Celtic, he will have more oportunities to show his might in games with not a superclubs like Kilmarkock, St. Mirren, Inverness and others. For example in Spain he could get much more problems first of all ti compete for the place in 1st eleven, and if he gets place on the field, Pav could have problems with scoring, because anyway Spanish league all in all is stronger than Scottish. And Pav's playing style can be useful in Britain.
P.S. If Arshavin goes to Barca, I think, that Russia will loose him. Well, I watched how he played with Spanish defenders. What did he make with them? Nothing.
