I think £6 million seems about right, TBH. It's certainly not a bargain; but it's not a rip-off either.

I’d 100% keep him, he’s young and has the talent. For people saying £6M is a lot I’d rather spend that on one player we know has the ability and doesn’t need time to settle in than punt on players much cheaper. Comparatively as well his wages will be fairly low for a signing of that amount.

Is there? I think in Scotland we put HUGE pressure on our u21's because we're always looking at the new crop to move us forward... Portugal are only looking for a player or 2 to supplement... Argument that they're under far less pressure and more encouraged to just play and shine...

It's on the high side though, for an as yet unseasoned player... It's purely opinion on whether you see the potential or the risk, and how you interpret the ratio... 6 is high for me, and 30% is probably a deal-breaker... We'd take all the risk and lose most of any reward... ~5 and ~15% would probably be my limit, with add-ons to supplement... But I'd also not * the bed over it going through at 6+30%

£6mil with a 30% seller on fee does seem a little bit steep. €5mil with 20% seems about right. And if O'Riley goes, I'd be looking to sign another more experienced midfielder - I wouldn't be expecting Bernardo to be the main man next season. He's got the potential to improve and become a nailed on starter, but I think it will.take him another year or so.

Think he'll develop into more of a no.6, and could be a very good one.

He did more in a short cameo than Hatate did the entire time he was on the park. He’s also far more reliable in terms of keeping possession and actually putting a shift in.

I reckon Rodgers fancies himself of being capable of improving him in a similar fashion to MOR so even though there are still question marks over him I reckon we’ll try get him in the door permanently.

Was excellent over that Christmas period when Hatate was out. He and MOR pulled us through. Proven. Get him signed.

He's shown he has massive potential..

Would like to see how much his shot moved from behind the goal, was some strike.

Doesn't really put a foot wrong when on the park.

    I like him.

That's two massive games v them he's done something of enormous magnitude to helo us secure a win.

There's definitely potential there, laddie just seems very shy and introvert, but has quality.

Ideally this is a bedding in season to Scottish fitba, we sign him and let him loose...

Not sure on this one. At least we know what we will be getting but didn't see a tonne of playing time last few months even as a sub. If Rodgers was thinking long term I would have thought he would want to see him play a bit more.

On current (albeit bit part) form we are getting more from him than Hatate.

Hatate has not been the same since coming back from injury. I hope he gets a good rest and preseason. On form he is scintillating.

I think a run of games and Bernardo could really be a main player for us.

As someone said above, he doesn’t need time to settle. That’s a big plus.
