I thought he done okay when he came on.

 

Nah, much like McGregor if fit O'Riley plays.

 

I know BR will do that but O’Reilly has been off the boil for a while now.

 

Took his goal really well, always adds much needed composure. He's been our best player over the course of the season..

Just hope he demonstrates it in the run in, he's class.

 

I really like him must sign imo.

 

People who questiones what he brings to the team really surprise me. Would be really hard to keep up his stats from the first half of the season (contribution wise), but what he brings on and off the ball, is immense. My POTY by a big distance.

 

I do hope we sign PB though.

 

Played well when he came on yesterday. Some good tackles, good on the ball and excellent defensively.

 

Hope he's with us long enough to have a testimonial. Just one of they players you trust implicitly.

We are not signing this player. He is not Jota. We need to look at the position he plays and if he is worth the investment. Although he is a good player.......he is not starting ahead of McGregor or O'Reilly and probably not Iwata at the moment.

Word is that Benfica will be looking for in the region of £6m. Our board wont put that out for somebody to sit on the bench. We've got the young team for that and they play for basically free.

 

Fully agree, he’s just looked fatigued for months now but this is the time the big players to show up for us.

 

Matts gone. He is his replacement.

Aye O'Reilly will probably move in the summer. As long as he goes for 20+ mil then it will be a very good piece of business. I dont think he is as good as we think though. His stats speak volumes. But he's one of these players that looks good in a winning team. If he signs with an Arsenal/Spurs level side then he's not getting a game. And if he does he will look bang average when they play in the Champions League or against Man City or Liverpool.

Bernardo however isnt his replacement. Not the same type of player and he already looks bang average in our side in my opinion, let alone in a team better than ours. w We are not going to invest in him.....I cant see it. O'Reilly is a better version of Turnbull. Bernardo is on a level with Turnbull.......which reaches as far as Cardiff City level

 

Hoping we sign him, really like him. I feel like we get a bit more of a hold of the midfield when he’s on the pitch. Presses everything and is strong and controlled so can take the ball in under pressure and come out with the ball or win a foul. I would like him to start for the next few games but don’t think he will

 

I think he'd even do a good job of the Calmac role, just with his knack of pre-empting what opposition players are about to do and his ability to put pressure on them. No sure how often, if ever, he's played that role but I think he'd be brilliant at it.

 

I think so too but I do like him in the 8. I think he will be the ready made replacement for O’Riley and will be him Hatate and Mcgregor next season if we sign him and Hatate stays which I think is solid…. Some criticism of him in the 8 is purely alongside O’Riley in that role too which is a lack of pace but with O’Riley out and bernardo swapped in alongside another 8 or a 10 I think will be much better balanced. The guys still 22 and I think he’s class
