Haven't seen enough of him yet to say he stands out enough to be worth the reported price tag, right now if they're fit I'd rather iwata and holm were getting more minutes to establish themselves since they're our players.

Different styles. Gets far more time on the ball in europe which is probably what he's used to from his time in Portugal whereas domestically if you take more than 2 touches you'll get smashed by that ugly * Alex gogic

I think he is too similar to the skill set of O’Riley and that’s why he isn’t used often domestically. O’Riley has been a standout for us this season although tailed off recently.

For me we badly lack energy and some pace in our midfield. We also lack creativity and anyone other than Hatate being able to do something unpredictable.

He might be better with the pace of Daizen, Hatate and Abada in the team, but he needs to do more.

So far, I've not seen enough from him to justify him being ahead of Hatate when he is back. I hope he proves me wrong.

I quite like the look of him, he holds the ball well and moves about into space well and defends fine.

We've only really seen him in European games though where we don't have a lot of the ball. In the League he'd need to show a bit more creativity or goal threat although we've never really seen him in a League game to tell.

See far more in Holm than Bernardo, just slow and not very good. Has some nice tidy touches but his positioning was * awful and just looked lost at points.

I don't think he'll be here beyond the loan.

Doesn't look like a bad player, just very beige. Couldn't really tell you what he does well. Isn't a goal threat, doesn't dribble well or make creative passes. Plus it's very strange he only seems to play in Europe.

I'm choking to see more of Holm but have a feeling Rodgers doesn't like him.

I feel like Turnbull mostly played in the League cause he scores goals and he isn't really needed defensively, Bernardo plays in Europe because he holds onto the ball well and defends pretty well and Holm adds a bit of legs and energy but probably is more reckless in possession than them and although he is quicker and more energetic we've not really seen enough of him that he adds much to the attack either.

Seems neither of them is ideal to Rodgers. Even Turnbull is now binned in the League and Bernardo in Europe and Holm not even getting subbed on much.

I wouldn't write anyone off though. Bernardo, Holm, Lagerbielke, Nawrocki or that they've just not played enough and it's not like Rodgers hasn't done similar before. Rember he didn't like Boyata when he came in and then Boyata ended up first choice, even the same with Ajer he played Ajer in his first game, never played him again and loaned him out in January then the next season Ajer and Boyata ended up the pairing - Ajer could have probably played right away under Rodgers but he just never used him. Also did the same to Christie, never played him for about a year and a half, injury crisis in midfield Christie came off the bench against Hearts at Murrayfield was superb and never went out the team again.

I actually thought tonight was his best performance but was still pretty quiet. He's not bad he's just there

No idea how a player is supposed to get a bit of momentum going while only getting a game, or even part of a game, here and there. Guy has an abundance of talent, vision, and technical ability, but won't get the chance to show it with us. Bit gutted at that if am honest.

I think he’s a nothing player personally, I think folk are waiting from something from him that will never come and I say that because I was in the same boat.

His highlight reel in a Celtic shirt thus far is a couple of tidy touches and a hap hazard ‘burst’ through midfield in Rome.

He isn’t a holding midfielder, doesn’t go box to box and isn’t a playmaker. Are we just making up a new central midfield role for him?

We're judging him on barely any game time though.

He's not even started a home game yet. Could be if he played at home to Motherwell or Kilmarnock or whoever he might show a bit more attacking ability since we have all the ball and high up the park, maybe score or create, get another start and bit of confidence.

He's only played 26 minutes of domestic football at Celtic Park, the longest he's played at home in the League was a 17 minute sub appearance against Dundee which was his debut and then he only played in one other game, 9 minutes against Hibs last week.

He’s played more often than not in the Champions League and showed as close to nothing as you could possibly get.

Most people would have though I think.

I like to see new signings playing at home in the League or any domestic games at home, our bread and butter in front of the fans, settling in getting used to the style and fans and team mates can get to trust them and see what they're like.

When all we've really seen of him is in the CL then you can't tell if he'd be good or not, hes probably got no confidence as he barely plays and when he does it's tough games.

MOR has shone in the Champions League, his literal midfield partner. A year older and with nowhere near the pedigree on his CV.

His pressing is 2nd only to Maeda in the team. That’s what his CL performances have consisted of, he’s been excellent in that regard.

He’s not been given a fair chance in a game where we are attacking and playing the kind of football he’d be used to in Benfica and Portugal youths. Not enough to judge at all, but he’s came in and done what has been asked of him in tough games.
