One of his poorer performances. Nothing really worked out.

 

Happens far too often when he starts..

He should've made his self a guaranteed starter by now....but he isn't, no for me..

 

Pish again.

 

Missed two great chances and the game just really passed him by. Disappointing and not quite sure what’s happened to him off late he was never the quickest but looks very sluggish on the ball at times just now and takes the easy option far to often for the ability he has to pick a pass or shoot.

 

Should've scored from that header. Wasn't impressed with him tonight at all.

 

Manager doesn't trust him I don't think .

 

He also had that chance from the Kyogo cutback, but hit the defender.

 

Can't fault him for work rate but wasn't great on the ball and should have buried that header tonight.

 

I don't blame him..

There's something missing from his game for me and i can't put my finger on just the one thing. Think there's a few that will probably end up seeing him as a squad player for his time here.....unless he can really start imposing his self on games, and for 90 minutes..

 

He has just turned 22, was poor tonight and doesn't dominante enough when he starts..

But, there's definitely a player there.

Agreed he has talent..

Bit one paced though so don't see him as a top box to box 8 when the pace of games are high. Seems to struggle with them..

Needs to do more for us. With his ability he should be scoring a lot more than he does as well..

 

At times he's been good this one.....just no enough..

 

A very patchy player, but it doesn't help when you're in and out the team constantly.

 

That header, was such a simple execution.

 

You need to take your chance when getting a start to show you deserve your place. He will be out the team again after last night and rightly so.

 

Did he not say he sees himself as a number 10. I'm not seeing that at all. Bit of a jack of all trades..

 

It was the same with the one that I think it was Kyogo pulled back to him around the penalty spot, the weight on the pass was perfect and yes the defender got his leg up to block it but the space he had and time to anticipate the ball he should have been slotting that low to a bottom corner either side of the defender.

The header was a sitter, a good run he made right enough but should have burried it. He had a good start to this season and really looked a steal for what we paid for him, even just last month he had a couple of really good showings but he has been poor the last few times he has been on the field. He looks like he is forcing things at times. In fact I actually think his best game lately came when he played as the deepest centre midfielder.

There is a lot of good attributes to his game but you feel he has to put them together more often.
