    * defender. Has the same ability to let attacker sneak in behind him that that tube Mulgrew has. Maybe a wide player or something else further up the pitch for a smaller team but he is never a defender.

Had his chances not been good enough time for him to move on or be a squad player he will never be anything more here ,

McGowan is another guy who is too weedy to play at this level. If you canr be tall then be strong and stocky (like Jinky or Lenny for instance). If you are neither then be very fast. Problem is he has technique but physically he is not up to a high level because he is wee, very light and not fast. That makes him at best a St. Johnstone/Motherwell level player. He could carve himself out a decent career at that level but he will never make it here. That young guy who scored on his debut recently showed more in 10 minutes than McGowan has in his whole career with us.

He's average , nowhere near as good as Hinkel ,so i would sell him cos i doubt he is going to play much next season and we already have a replacement rb (mark wilson) ,it's the left back position we need sorting

I cannot say I agree. He looked distinctly average the times I saw him play this past season. Hinkel is the starter at right back for me.

I've always liked Caddis, but like others have mentioned, he is best suited as a winger rather than a fullback.

Caddis like a few other guys I feel could blossom with the right guidance from a good manager.

I hope whoever we bring in can improve the players we already have and at the sametime bring in good talent and do enough to win the league.

I have not read the last 4 pages of ths thread, sorry.

Caddis a player me and all my mates used to shout to be given a chance.

He has been given plenty chances and he unfortunatley is is not going to make the grade.

He is not strong enough to play against players who are physical and athletic.

    Time to sell the bhoy....
