    Celtic board have done well re numbers, they have done really well the last few years in Scotland terms! but their limited views for Celtic employing the likes of Ronnie and Ciftci could have backfired big time, it really was a limited view and one that demeaned if not insulted the fanbase and potential.
    They do not deserve to be applauded blindly.

    Reality, is BR has taken the club forward those steps where we should be and sadly we likely only have him because sevco beat us in a semi final and so a personally embarrassed Desmond convinced BR to come and the circumstances thankfully were good for all.
    We should not forget this bit of luck that came out of a totally needless embarrassment.

    Not all at Celtic board is great, this deal by credible account could have been done for sensible money. This kid is a very rare opportunity and a financial no brainer (subject to insuring his legs)

    We should have paid City what they were asking for, I doubt it was 10 million, but even if it was, anyone watching should have seen that will very likely and soon look like a comparative absolute steal for this kid.

    The lad deserves massive credit for coming back. He could have picked up his cheque on the City bench or gone to Nice or Southampton, but he was determined to come back to paradise despite the usual English * telling him that it's a 'tinpot league' and he lacks ambition. He knows the score. He knows he'll get CL nights and love from the terraces that he'll never get down south. Considering young English wonderkids usually waste their talents getting over confident and living playboy lifestyles, Paddy deserves huge credit for his determination to play in the green and white. Welcome home, Paddy!

    We know absolutely * all about the deal, he hasn't even been announced yet! How can you possibly have a go at the board when we don't know how hard we tried to get a deal done permanently?

    I genuinely think on this occasion City were just being fussy and stubborn about the whole thing. There is only so much we can do.

    Youre just making blind assumptions, as has been the case from many throughout this whole ridiculous saga!
