    Should leave plenty of space..

Wonder what wing he'll be played on Tierney and Roberts could be very potent..

It may take him by surprise the amount of quality we have vying for the forward positions. And he'll need to work hard to get into the team, can't just come up and think he'll walk into the side immediately.

    Would think the right...

    Brown Bitton
    Johansen Ajer?
    Roberts Rogic Armstrong
    GMS Commons Forrest
    Christie McGregor Allan

Plenty of competition :smiley-laughing002: probably about 3 players too many, i'd loan out McGregor despite him playing well, send him to Bolton or something.

So apparently he only cost City around 4M then another 7/8M worth of add ons which am guessing will be appearances etc.
Quite excited to see what he can do, though he will need to work his way into the team.

Never seen him but no doubt he'll be a classy player.

But where does this leave the likes of Nesbit or Henderson? Completely derailing our own lads careers to develop a player for another club.

Realise he's a winger and not directly in competition with Henderson but as has been shown central players often get their breakthrough and game time out wide.

Feel that Nesbit and Henderson have to be sent on loan or next season could be a complete waste for them and badly stunt their development.

Nesbitt is what 19 or just about? Ronny must have reevaluated where he sees his future over the past few months if he's bringing a similar age lad in for such a lengthy loan with less than a dozen games under his belt. Speaks volumes for his chances of a breakthrough IMO.

If good enough they will make it though...Having competition an quality in the squad must breed success. And if this lad is as good as he's hyped that wee bit of magic could be enough to make that wee bit of difference in Europe.

18 months makes it a deal worth doing.:50:

Just needs to do his medical, which will take place over the weekend I think, and then that's it.

It shows the madness of the money involved down South that a boy like this went for £12m. Great piece of business by Celtic though. He looks like a great wee player.

Seems like a great move. If he's as good as advertised, 18 months would be fantastic. You figure, if we signed some young stud of this quality on a transfer, he'd probably be snapped up by another team after around 18 months anyway. Sad, but true. I know the club won't see a profit from the deal since it's a loan, but having him for a year and a half is a significant stay. If he helps in Europe next year, it'll be worth it. Hopefully he falls in love with the both the club and a Scottish broad who convinces him to stay in Glasgow.
