There's probably already a thread on this but couldn't find it. I'm driving down to Glasgow for the game on Wednesday and was wondering where I can park?

Other places are on Springfield Road and the side streets.(closest to LL stand) Again be early as spaces go fast.
There are other places but can't think of where at the minute. -

Depends where you're sitting and heading to afterwards. When I had my ST in 110, north east corner, we'd park on Beattock or Powfoot st which are between Westmuir and Tollcross road

For anyone heading toward the M74 or eastwards it's always best to park somewhere off Tollcross Road, I would always say somewhere around the bus depot as there are always free spaces and it's only about 10 minute walk and you are far enough away from the ground to not get stuck in the worst of the congestion, that was always the issue with the Lisbon Lions car park, ok a 2 minute walk but sometimes half an hour to get out just to get onto the start of London or Tolcross Road, particularly big games.
Unless you really are adverse to walking for 10 minutes or so I would always park as far down Tolcross as I can -

Cheers lads. I'm heading eastwards after the game so either tollcross road or mcvities sounds like a good idea. Hopefully the traffic afterwards isn't too bad

How do you go about getting a permit or a badge for the car parks at the ground? All info would be greatly appreciated
-
Blue badge holders are still first come first served for Lisbon Lions and behind Jock Stein but obviously free. -

Another daft question here but if I parked on Tollcross road or just off it, would I be safe enough wearing a celtic polo top walking around that area? And I'm not talking about the fashion police

Received a parking fine through the post today for parking at the Forge, letter is from Smart Parking, anyone else ever had one?
-
Under Scottish law parking fines from private companies are unenforceable. Ignore it and do not even reply to the company. They will try sending what appears to be legal letters threatening court action, but again ignore them.
If they want to force you to pay they will have to take you to the small claims court.
What they are sending you is an invoice for a breach of contract. When you drive onto private land or a retail car park, you enter into an unwritten contract. This is therefore a contractual, civil matter and not a criminal one.
Only pay if the fine is from the District Council or Police. -

Taking my grandad up to the game tomorrow, and will be trying to park in the car park behind the lisbon lions stand. He has a blue badge so gets in for free, but does anyone know how long before kick off the car park shuts? Might be a bit pushed for time and he struggles walking anymore than 10 mins.

Another letter now from DEBT RECOVERY PLUS, fine has gone up to £160!!!!
