When paddy first came he was getting a lot of injuries and was very unfit. The step up must of been difficult for him, but he has stuck in and has been rewarded with a new contract.

The hard work now looks as if it is paying off, he's looking leaner, sharper and as a result is injury free.

How anyone can say he is not a good footballer or passer should take up a different sport because they know nothing about football!!!

McRae, I think you're being a bit harsh on McCourt as a player. Especially on his passing ability. He's a very good passer of the ball imo.

You make a good point about him not lasting a whole game etc but I would still play the guy from the start in certain games. I do believe he's the best footballer at the club having not yet seen Juarez and most of the new guys properly.

Don't get me wrong, Maloney and Forrest are very good at the moment as well. Glad we don't have McGeady now as we're a better team without him.

If you's actually think he's the best football player in Scotland, tell me how he can't get a game ahead of forrest & maloney?

I'm asking why you think he isn't getting a game. that's pretty clear to understand unless you're mentally retarded.

Ledley are you not aloud to point out players flaws in a thread basically questioning why he isn't getting more time on the pitch? Seriously?

I bet you would feel pretty * slagging me if i turned round and told you i was mentally retarded!

Actually if you want to be picky, youasked why he isn't getting a game, not why WE THOUGHT he wasn't getting agame.

And by the way, when did i say he was the best player in Scotland exactly?

you didn't. You are however having a go at me for my reply to someone claiming he was the best footballer in the country.

He is one of the best footballers in the country, when he plays, he scores. What more do you want?

    * only knows why he isnt played week in week out. Maybe because muppets are still dragging his apparent "fitness problems" out.

For me paddy is an impact player. We're playing well just now and we need 11 men working. Maloney and Forrest have started this season very well and fully deserve their starting positions.

Absolutely - but Scott Brown, by comparison, has been *.

Also Forrest plays best on the right, Maloney plays best just off the striker, and Paddy plays best cutting in from the left. None of them are in competition for the same position.

    5-man midfield:

    Juarez - Kayal

    Forrest - Maloney - McCourt :50:
