What about a mazey in the last minute of the Gers game to score the 6th. Seriously would like to see him get a couple of games before he leaves in the summer, if indeed he does.

There's obviously a problem with Paddy.

If you can go past players like that, then there's either a problem with the defensive side to your game or your fitness if you aren't starting weekly. Lennon watches him in training and I presume McCourt just doesn't cut it. He can stay if he's happy playing a small part here.

He isn't good enough for us. His time is up I was surprised he didn't leave in January. He needs to find a new club were he can play week in week out.

I like him. If he's happy to stay then keep him.

Celtic under neil lennon, will never be a team of any great note, as he cant reconise talent,
hope Dundee united, take Paddy, and you would all see the erros of your ways.
I just cant wait. who ever told you about Paddy not lasting 90 min needs to have a lie down.

He should leave. Lennon's making a project for the higher end of Europe. Paddy's not good enough for that kind of intensity.

However, I don’t think he’ll want to remain here much longer. He needs regular football and sadly I don’t think he’s going to get that at Parkhead.

He doesn’t even make the bench anymore.

In that case i think the most of our 1st team squad should leave.

As I'm sure some fans may have noted, I would certainly be at the forefront of the Paddy fan club. But he has to go. Provided some truly classic moments in a Hoops shirt and his minutes to goals/assists etc. is as good if not better than most. However reading some of the recent threads he will only flourish away from some of the most critical fans in world football. Back down to England I say where some clubs still value technical ability, a skill that our squad doesn't exactly have in spades.**awaits "Are you Paddy" "Hes just not good enough" "3 managers...."**

As an aside I watched him and James McClean play for Derry every week, and McClean will tell you himself he couldn't lace Paddys boots.

I agree, too many fuds slagging him off when he hasn't even played a handful of games. His assist against Motherwell kept us in the title race and we were struggling to break down Peterhead before his wonder pass to Sammy.

Obviously we have an abundance of players who can open up a defence though.:87:

icon/legend/hero/ cult figure. Whatever, he's a tim and the fans love him, he has his place in celtic history with the rest of them. He scored some spectacular goals as well. PMFA

I want to see him score another couple wonder goals, so we can get 3 million for him and sell him.

Would be best for both the player and the club, thanks for the memories and good luck on the future, move him on.

If he was ever going to get a run in the team it would be the past few games when Forrest has been injured, I'd play him. I think he's played his last game for us, but Paddy McCourt is not a Celtic legend, that's just a ridiculous comment.
