I like him but let's be honest, he won't be here much longer, not done anything for a good year and a half. Never going to be a first pick so I think we should let him go once his contract is up.

Honestly don't understand why we rejected those bids from Blackpool last Jan/this summer. Was never gonna play and he'll leave for * all in the summer.

Ye maybe but McGeady was in the early stages of his career McCourt is hardly a spring chicken and has had his chance here , he isnt going to get better

 

If Lennon wanted rid of him, he'd have done so. Lennon doesn't like these kinds of players (Crosas, Ki, Maloney, McGeady....even Forrest has his creativity stripped from him and told to just run in a straight line down the wing and cross)

But Paddy, most used sub, perpetual bench warmer, what is his purpose, why on earth hasn't Lennon got rid of this deadweight?

He's saving him, building him up, faster, stronger, with big Jim now in, to turn an Irish league Messi into the greatest footballer of all time. And then he'll manage Celtic after Lennon takes the Barca job and becomes the best Celtic manager of all time.

It'll happen, you wait and see.

In fairness though, people said that about Aiden at the time - he can learn and improve, but he's not going to develop any further physically. But we got in the right fitness coach from the states, and one summer later he suddenly he had an extra 10% pace & upper body.

Paddy certainly has the talent, so if JM could sort out his fitness and psychology... Paddy McCourt's Cyber Army.

 

According to the BBC website Paddy will be the subject of a £750k Offer from Crystal palace ...I say snap their Hand off ....personally i would have just have given him away for free and got him off the wage bill .....

 

I'm torn. Would be better to get something for him if he's only going to play in one in four games this season (and then only as a sub), but I'll miss him.

I'd be happier if he got more starts tbh.

 

Holloway wanted him at blackpool aswell. I'd let him go now as he's a wasted talent here.

Id sell for 750k. But if he stays and works with Jimmy McGuinness then it might save his career here.

Let him go. I like Paddy but hes wasted here I also feel the same about Zaluska he is a good keeper and now in his 30s we should have a young promising back up keeper instead
