McCourt and Mizuno seem to be making a solid partnership. Thats a few times recently I have seen they have combined to make goals or grab them for themselves. Promising stuff.

Totally agree an injection of some good football, dribbling ability, finishing and pace, sounds like the combo of mccourt mcginn mizuno hutchison and miller created more chances in that game than first team have since start of december, obviously all cant be brought in but mizuno has been playing well for some weeks now and mccourt seems to be really on form and fitness is improving i think hes a confidence player as most flair players are he should be rewarded with an appearance on sunday either on bench or a start. Freshen things up!

Everything I have seen about him looks like he has the best football brain at the club other than Naka, Maloney and Crosas. With Maloney out, Aidan balls (except in one game for Ireland) and us lacking creativity and players who release the ball at the right moment I would serioulsy consider giving the guy a start. If anyone he is a bit like Maloney and boy do we miss we Shaun. A lot od our best games had Shaun and Naka both on the pitch.

Just watched the Celtic res v Hibs game on Celtic TV and Paddy was absolutely amazing in a playmakers role. Every time he players he looks miles better than anyone else on the pitch. He really couldnt do more (other than stay fit) to get into the 1st team. Koki looked good in flashes too. Thought McGinn looked very poor though (but early days) and Hutchinson is a mixed bag and is not as good as Skippy.

I watched it as well, McGinn looks very poor it has to be said. I thought Donati looked much improved and Misun is a bear for an 18 year old. Hutchinson has delayed his surgery but I like the look of him, he won't be ruffled by SPL defenders put it that way.

McCourt has a very distinctive style, it looks lazy but he's continually dropping the shoulder which is hard to read. Great vision but the application isn't always perfect, he played a couple of clever balls through to Koki which were slightly over hit.

Thanks for the link to the goals. Is it just me or does anyone else think McCourt has a deceptive way of running. He drops down as he's running with the ball, almost stooping over it. Looks a lot thinner than when I last seen him also.

I'd give him a run in the first team....Strachan's admitted in today's paper that our front line haven't been producing so maybe he was hinting at change.

Paddy is looking sharp as a tack the now great to see, i hope he gets his chance he's obviously worked hard for it. There's no comparison between reserve football and first team football so i wouldn't be going over the top the now, but hopefully he's got the bottle and the character to do well.
