    So what if he likes a * or two - Prosinecki used to smoke more a day than Messi scores in a season, and I would have given anything to see that wily Croat pull on the hoops. FFS, Russell Latapy used to go for a quick puff at the side of the pitch when there was a break in play!

    I doubt the top players smoke during the season, they probably just have a cigar or two at the end of the season.

    Henrik Larsson apparently liked the odd cigar. Allegedly he had Bert Konterman carry them into the dressing room in a solid gold cigar case upon the ringing of a wee bell.

    we cant let paddy go because he is our most creative and exciting player we have , paddy will play an important role in the team next season. it is up to himself to stay fit maybe time to change his lifestyle. imo he is one of the most technically gifted player to grace the green and white hoops. i say if he is not on par with jimmy jonstone he is up there. cmon bhoys everytime he gets the ball he glides past about 4 players, now he just needs a bit of hard work and sheer determination

    He came on as sub for 20 minutes and was surrounded by 3-4 Rangers players each time he received the ball. Give him a break.

    A few facts: Played 90 mins away to Falkirk in league cup and doesn't smoke. :50:

    He'll only ever be Celtics Harlem Globetrotter... better for him to take a loan move to Blackpool to see if he can cut it.
