    So Hammy, we're not allowed to like certain players are we? Or maybe they can only be players you like. Or Fat * from Austin Powers who i see you have on your profile? I didn't start this thread and i completely understand why Lennon thought twice about bringing Mc Court on but we are all entitled to say what we think and to disagree. If i think someone is talking garbage then i will say so and so will others.
    Constructive criticism of Paddy's game is one thing but cheap jibes at those who support him are pathetic and that's not all aimed at you by the way, the rest of you know who you are.

    what are you talking about? of course you're allowed to like players. however, these McCourt followers seem to be a bit obtuse and completely biased towards him. people's love of McCourt completely gets in the way of the real reason why he isn't a regular. he hasn't been a regular for three years, under three managers. people who want him in the starting XI must have a screw loose. he simply doesn't deserve a place in our midfield.

    as i've said, i don't care if he stays or goes. i just don't want him starting that often as we have better players than him.

    You have more consistent players, you have fitter players, you have more athletic players, plenty of water carriers, but no where in the squad is there a BETTER FOOTBALLER than Paddy McCourt.:50:

    street jugglers are good at skill. they lack everything else, much like McCourt.

    If I was him I would go off and be the big fish (free role) in a smaller side like Hibs. I think the role of being the special player in a smaller team would be ideal for him.

    paddy is nothing like a street juggler ye clown... paddys got the most attacking attributes in our team..his passing and crossing are good..he has great creativity...hes got sharp bursts of pace to get away from his man.. he is the only flair player and can dribble with the ball and hes also got great composure

    I don't feel sorry for him at all. He's a good squad player, he changes games in our favour from time to time but he's too selfish and doesn't contribute to our defensive solidity enough to be a regular. I don't think Lennon has treated him badly in the slightest. If he wants to go and get first team football for a smaller club then fair play to him.
