eh...no. That says absolutely nothing about what I think of Lenny as z manager. Just there is a character called Lenny or Lennie in that bit of literature. I am pretty pro Lenny although with sensible concerns regarding his tiny managerial CV. BTW-how would it be pathetic if someone didnt fancy Lenny as our gaffer. Its not compulsary you know and to be honest there would be a substantial amount of doubters but for people not being able to get clear in their mind the difference between Lenny the player legend and Lenny the novice manager.

If McCourt was playing where Maloney was yesterday he'd be far more effective. In saying that, Maloney was outstanding. It has to be one or the other for me.

If we had signed a proven Striker (Hooper may turn out good), then Samaras could play where McCourt was yesterday, Juarez in for Ledley and that's our best front 6. Really liked the shape of the team for a change.

If the Left Back we're about to sign and the new CD are any good, the League is ours.

I'm not so sure that McCourt should be playing in that role (Maloney's role yesterday)..

McCourt seems to want to operate from one are of the pitch only -

Anywhere else and he's pretty uncomfortable (albeit one or two of his "wondergoals" came from deep in the middle) generally speaking though that is his preferred area and he sticks to it.

The one thing I was mystified by was our weakest area by far is LB, yet we played by far the least defensive option possible in front of Mulgrew. Seemed crazy to me and perhaps more suited to Ledley there on the left (or Forrest) and one of our hundreds of CM's to come into the middle.....

I guess the result justifies the selection but still

dont get the title of this thread but hey ho...

Paddy needs to be wide on the left, ledley is a centre mid, paddy needs a run in the side to get up to some level of fitness give him time lenny is justified in his selection!!
