We as fans obviously see limited games as we have day jobs. If the best our scouting team can come up with is Owen Beck though, it’s a damning indictment of our whole recruitment team.

Our board's limit for a straight-up buy with no previous loan is £5 million. This is a BS article, or Liverpool don't want to sell him at all.

Absolutely no chance Liverpool value him at £3m.

They * are robbing * and anyone that plays 1 game in their academy instantly becomes a £10m player

 

When I said "the money is there if the right player comes up", I meant "roughly 2.5m is there for a player we've known everything about for the past year".

 

I think we would pay £3m if that were the price. I don't believe he is what we should be aiming for as first choice left back unless we want to be patient.

 

Im not 100% sold on him, but there is obvious plus points to him and that value is probably very fair.

If it's anyway in that region and we are interested, then just get that done.

I'd not be against Taylor and beck, albeit I'd rather an upgrade on Taylor, beck is a project to take over in time. But I'd accept it, because the clubs run so terrible that even this is acceptable as some sort of positive.
