    I'd hardly say Bendtner was overrated, I don't know anyone that actually thinks he's good...

    Have to disagree. 29 goals (scored/assisted) in 28 games so far this season plus he has played half at RW and half at ST.

    Considering he was never really that highlighted rated by anyone outside of Arsenal you can't seriously call him overrated.

    I know not many people think he is brilliant but if Rio wasn't his brother Anton Ferdinand would be nowhere near the Premier League, he is seriously shocking.

    I watch the EPL, The Championship, SPL, La Liga, Europa League, Champions League and International football but apart from in Scotland, I only really have access to the English media and what their fans believe so it's harder to call other players overrated.

    But the Premiership is absolutely the most overrated football competition in the entire world. You have 3 world class sides, a handful of good sides and the rest are all poor to awful. The media perpetuate the myth that the league is the top level of world football filled with world class talent from top to bottom. The truth is it's ridiculously overrated.

    Its the English who tend to build their young players up too much. Chamberlain and Sterling are decent prospects but are they any better or as good as Forrest?

    Like wise Rodwell and Cleverley, are they any better or as good as Wanyama and Kayal?

    Could Gibbs lace the boots of Matthews?

    The only real good English young players are Jones, Wilshere, Sturridge and Walker id say. The rest Smalling, Kelly, Gibbs, Cleverley, Shelvey, Henderson, Chamberlain, Sterling, Zaha, Welbeck might be good but they are nothing special, players who if they played for Celtic they wouldnt look too good for us, they'd probably just fit in with the likes of Rogne, Mulgrew, Kayal, Ledley, Stokes as a similar standard of player - yet down there they are probably worth £8-15million apeice.
