    Things is I'm not anti-religion...but I agree with MGM regarding the 'kill all heretics' crap.

    Islam these days is the perfect vehicle for manic slaughter apologists.

    That's the problem. Satire has to be careful. i.e. Salman Rushdie stating he's never have published stuff of his nowadays. Cartoonists living in fear of their lives.

    The trouble is that the "average peaceful charitable muslim" is more offended by the video than by the reaction to it

    Surely they should be marching in greater numbers than those rioting and demanding that such things not be done in their name but they aren't and they won't

    Religion does not make those who I know that are deeply religious do such things.

    In fact, it makes them behave in a respectful and loving way.

    If people stopped making films that were designed to bring about the reaction they have, then the world would be a more peaceful place.

    For some people, religion is the driving factor in their lives. If you offend their religion, you offend the very essence of their being.

    I dont agree with violence, but I understand the reaction that this hate filled film has generated.

    I think the point is that if you met someone who believed in the above, why would you take pleasure or see any value in making a video taking the * out of their beliefs? I dont believe the world would be any better or worse from someone pointing out your faith is irrational, but I dont see what would be gained by making videos and cartoons mocking this person. I would actually go as far as suggesting that is it just as irrational for people to spend their days trying to belittle the faith of others, as it is to hold a faith no matter how irrational.

    People take the * out of all sorts of nationalities and religions, sometimes it may cross a line.... however it does not justify mindless rioting, murdering, raping, etc of innocent civilians.

    The guy who made the film has made an error... however he is NOT responsible for what has happened since.
