    Speaking of delusional nutjobs.

Lenny got us through Champions League Groups so I can't deny your point is correct. What I will say though is, who did Lennon develop? What attacking style did he develop? What ethos did he develop? What fitness structure did he develop?

We are working towards something greater than he could ever achieve because he never even put 1 building block in place.

Ffs you've forgot to add Owen Coyle and Roy Keane to that list. They would be the inevitable favourites if Ronny was to leave.

Believe me, some of you should be careful for what you wish. Imagine having Owen Coyle - he would be a total board happy clapper and have us playing totally gash football. At least we have a potential development philopsphy under Ronnie.

    Not the case at all.

Did I suggest Tierney was * tonight, Blackett was good and we played brilliantly?

Lennon coming back would be brilliant, I really can't see it though.

I would obviously take Rodgers or Moyes but doubt either would be interested.

Lambert is the obvious candidate. It might not excite people, but let's remember - Deila excited a lot of people here and look at the clisterfuck that turned into.

Agree with some of your points about Lennon ( bigger picture stuff was poor ) but you have to admit he built a fairly sturdy , reliable , hard to break down side that were perfectly equipped to punch above their weight in Europe. His selections were good and he was tactically sound for the most part. Made Celtic Park a horrible place to come for opponents and you have to admire that aspect of his tenure .

What you have to remember also is that this is a very unattractive proposition for any manager . Lennon has put it on the record that the board dont back the manager and that he couldn't take the club any further as a result . No competition , no real respect/praise for winning titles , horribly mismatched in terms of budgets on a European level and a horrible standard of league domestically .

Aye and look how well that's going right now.

Look, Deila's philosophy is great and I love what he says, but he needs to get results just now as well as looking forward.

It is actually sarcy *

Tierney would not have got game time under Lennon. Bitton wouldn't be the player he is. Griffiths wouldn't be the player he is.

The fact Deila took kilos off a squad of professional athletes in the space of weeks tells you all you need to know about what Deila inherited.

I really don't care if we have a manager who does not develop players (although to be fair Lenny managed to develop a lot of inexpensive projects into 7 figure sales), develop attacking styles or develop systems if he can bring us ti the CL group stages and produce and odd win over the Euro giants.

Whilst Deilas building work sounds brilliant and most of us backed him and bought into his philosophy. The reality is his first steps were to make this team much fitter and showing this in the last 20 minutes of games. So far he has not even got that far as this team looks dead on their feet and bereft of basic ideas of attack. So I would love to see his plans implemented, but at this stage it looks like it could be another five years before the fitness levels even kick in.

Lambert was a failure at Villa but he did an excellent job at Norwich. I wouldn't for a second entertain the idea of getting Mjallby.

If Lambert is a failure then what the * is Deila? We've just been thumped home and away by * Molde!

    I would want Moyes
But more likely we'll end up with Coyle, Keane or Lambert

Think some are being a bit unfair on paul lambert.managed to keep a very * aston villa team in the premiership 2 year running.succesive promotions with Norwich.loads of managerial experience of british football.former celtic legend.knows what the clubs all about.same with lennon, this is a guy who got us into champions league two year running.some of the best manager sin the world would struggle with that joke of a bolton team.weird decision by lennon.reminds me of when martin oneill went to sunderland when he could have done a lot better.

but some people suggest Larsson, sutton, keane, owen coyle:38:

Deila is a Norwegian and Scottish Title winner in his 30's. A proven winner with a clear strategy. That's what the * Deila is.
