So he got * up his tactics and his selection - can't do much more wrong as a manager.

I don't think Ronny will be stepping down any time soon. Or even fired. Even if all we do is draw and lose the next coming Euro nights, he won't be fired.

The only way he's going to be fired this season is if we go on a domestic losing streak or if we lose the league somehow.

If Peter Lawwell andDesmond got even a sniff of encouragement that Davie Moyes would be willing to take the Celtic job , Ronny would be given the spanish -archer immediately.

If I were to put any money on it at all, I would say that this manager wont leave the club or be sacked until NEXT season, and that our next manager will be a former player. I think the board will look for a former player, a Celtic man, someone CHEAP, and someone the support would be more willing to forgive for their inexperience, and managerial faults.

In all honestly I wouldn't want Henrik to take the job any time soon. He's one of the greatest players we've ever had, a real club legend.

The idea of seeing him on the touchline struggling to manage players who aren't a patch on him in his prime isn't something I'd want to see.

Delia may turn a corner yet, but it's a * long bend we're travelling on, and he's not showing himself to be a particularly good driver! Same BASIC mistakes, time and time again! Time to move on.

Would love to see Henke back as manager one day, but the Club needs a steady hand right now.

The choice for me is simple... Davie Moyes. Absolute no-brainer.

Wouldn't want Moyes at all. Keep hearing people suggesting Moyes.
A rubbish manager who has been sacked twice in a year by two different clubs. He has been found out.

Hardly a bad thing being found out by MANCHESTER UNITED!

He shouldn't have went to Sociedad though.

Moyes will be ruing the day he resigned from the Everton job.

Actually think Moyes was doing a better job than Van Gaal, especially if he got the money he did.

I'm impressed he went to Sociedad, he'll be a better manager for it, right out his comfort zone.

Aye, it seemed almost forced upon him.

And its an opportunity he likely wouldn't have gotten again.

Still, its far too big a job that you can just hope it all falls into place. :smiley-laughing002:

Reputation totally tarnished, even though his record at Everton was cracking.

I'd take him here. Sure, he may not be massively inspiring football wise but he is a big-ish name and he couldn't do any worse I don't think.

Main criticism of him in Spain is that he never left his comfort zone - never learned the lingo, never adapted his approach to the game or tactical set up, never even moved out of his hotel.
