we should be atleast having a go at strengthening. then if the * hits the fan you sell one of your assets. But currently we have sold players and not replaced them. So we go into these games with a weaker squad than we had at the end of the season. * madness. And no doubt if we don't qualify we will lose more players anyway.

Same old *. Season in/Season out. It's not gonna change anytime soon. Embarrassing amounts of money being wasted on lighting, when it could be spent on the team.

I just hope the reason Desmond was here tonight was to see that shambles of a defence for himself.

Hope he slipped lawell a piece a paper with a decent number on it to spend!

sick of people complaining about Lawell and then doing nothing about it.

He came in in 2003, gave martin o'neil no transfer budget and we lost the league the next season and Martin walked in that summer.
Strachan came in and got rid of Thompson and Sutton as soon as he could and then punted Hartson at the end of his first season and Lennon at the end of the next one all because Lawwell wanted the wages down.
Strachan's fourth season he wanted Steven Fletcher in january and Lawell refused to meet hibs asking price and what happened on the second last game of the season? fletcher scored the * goal that ended any hopes of us getting 4 in a row and then Strachan was gone in the summer.
we had the Mowbray disaster and what did we do, gave the job to the cheapest option Neil Lennon. thankfully lennon proved to be a good manager but after 4 seasons he saw his best players go and funds for replacement were scarce so what did he do he walked.
and once again our board in all it's glory went for Ronny Deila who if would have lost us the league if Aberdeen werent the biggest bottlejobs in scotland. cheap option again.

Now Lawell is repeating the process he did to Martin, Gordon and Neil. Brendan will walk away after this season if we're lucky enough that he wants to stay that long.

we will never aspire beyond winning the league as long as he runs our club.

Replacing big Erik with Hendry was foolish. Erik wasn't the best but was better than Hendry right now. Would have played Jozo tonight before Hendry. Lustig has the heart and passion but the legs have gone and should be consigned to being a back up.

Hopefully see more of that round Celtic Park in the coming weeks. Get him to *! We’ve seen this same story repeat itself too many times.

You need to remember when MON left celtic were 18 million in debt....PL was right to take the action he did or we very well could have gone the same way as rangers.

I don't know what is going on at celtic,i used to hang onto the hope that we was not really spending cause we was saving it for a rainy day when it came time to push hard for 10iar if a challenge came along,Now granted ranger are not much but they will be trying and we need to be ready.
But if our highlight of this window is having got tens of millions from the CL and tried to screw hibs out of 500k-1million its a * sad state of affairs.

Ronny was never close to losing the league to Aberdeen ffs.

Aside from that, I do worry that the board will eventually be the reason Brendan goes. We broke our transfer record for a player this window, other than that it’s been poor and we have blantatly avoided strengthening in areas that are crying out to be strengthened.

If i were Rodgers I would consider seriously walking to be honest.

Imagine being the manager who could possibly be at the helm if we don't win 10 in a row, it's it's him both his treble achievements will be forgotton about.

This man single handedly turned this club around from being europa league mediocre pish to a champions league team. He deserves to be backed as he sees fit. * scunnered. It's January 2009 all over again

You're right. Brendan Rodgers has sanctioned the signings of compper, musonda, de vries, benyu, Hayes, kouassi, gamboa and hendry over the course of the last 4 Windows. He's not entirely innocent in the scenario that Is being played out.

The 'board' failed to sign a guy, who for me wouldn't have been a first pick, and we draw 1-1 with a team who won their domestic league, and were obviously very decent opposition and we're in * meltdown.

    Calm the * down.

    Take a step back.

And maybe think about throwing a wee bit of flak at our manager. Because he ain't beyond criticism.

Blatantly bvious for ages we need a new 1st choice R/B and a new C/B. But brendan seemed to fancy a new C/M. Why for * sake. Biggest games of our season these, and he chooses yesterday o openly have a go at the board. Sure. Great * timing.

That aside, AEK are a good side, but we were able to get draws at the etihad and moenchengladbach so it's not all over yet.

Keep the heid and let's focus on the 2nd leg.

Can only see loan signings coming in now , And possibly 1 or 2 big hitters leaving especially if we get papped out next week.

If BBC reports are true (which I doubt) then let's get the board members who are unhappy infront of the fans and see how big they are then

It's the fact that everything is going great on and off the park. Record season ticket numbers, waiting lists everyone but Lawell singing from the same hyme sheet.

How the * will he like it when we're down to 45k attendance, a * manager and a Europa league squad. But hey the lights are great and the bank balance is healthy.
