    we will be outspent by them. They will also have more players brought in than us. Yes they make a * of themselves but they are still out there trying. we dont seem to be. maybe no need for panic now but cant be far off. I do trust Lennon, its the idiots bank rolling him i dont trust.

    i think we should wait till the transfer window closes and if we havent signed a keeper and a centre forward then we have every right to be * off at the board :47: as the huns are there for the taking again and if the board fail the fans again then think we need to dust down the SACK THE BOARD banners .

    this board have failed us at critical times and now they are paying the pen of no cl money for 3 years and sbs down,investment on jan when we were going for 4iar would have secured it they didnt and now biting us back badly as we are skint now.

    Remember we lost last season by ONLY 1 point.

    The smugness and non action of the board since close of last season beggars belief.

    Unless i've missed something we don't really have any money to spend do we? The money the club generates itself(season tickets, merchandise etc) covers wages and the general running of the club while extras like cash from the SPL/europe goes into the transfer kitty. Given that we haven't succeded on either front lately means pickings are slim. Add to that our debt which is somewhere near 8M and also the oversized squad we have. Why are people still expecting us to be spending millions on transfers when money is tight and Scottish football in general is skint?

    we are not looking for billions. if you dont keep investing like anything it gets old and run down. we need to invest to progress to the champions league were the money is. its a catch 22 really,

    dont spend = no champions money

    invest = champions league money.

    Correct thailandceltic, yet the board think that they can achieve champions league with no investment and look where that has got us, i think its a disgrace they haven't either a) backed lennon for players he wants or b) why the * weren't targets immediately asked once we knew we wouldn't be getting forster back on loan once pardew spouted his *.

    Either Lenny and the board have some kind of genius plan up their sleeve at the moment we are loosing out on our top goalkeeper target, we haven't got a striker in to add to stooper. This myth of a strong squad is loosing its presence once we lose 1 or 2 players. We need strengthening, 2/3 quality players, just get them in!

    In times of stark financial climate the entire world over I find it mind-boggling that the majority of football fans seem to think their club exists outwith normal reality.

    Countries, yes whole entire countries, are going bankrupt. Celtic are not immune to what is going on around us and as such it would be ridiculous to suggest we should go out and spend millions of pounds and put ourselves in a position of un-manageable debt.

    We are looking for a keeper and a striker, most would agree that is what we require. Lennon has said it's what he wants, if it isn't delivered by a fortnight's time we have every right to feel aggrieved.

    Had the board invested 3 years ago we may have had 3 years CL money.

    HMRC would be running amok at the piggery.

    Speculate to accumulate ? Obviously not on Peters menu.

    Im not saying spend millions and millions. we need a keeper a striker and another decent defender. The amount of * we have at the club is unreal, offload these muppets and invest in some decent players. its simple business really. Are the board hanging about and waiting for some mugs to offer us millions for O Dea, Hoveild, Ras, and the countless others that never have a chance of making the first team. its baffling.

    Yes 'we may have'.

    The common misconception being if we had signed Steven Fletcher we would suddenly have won the league. Steven Fletcher that scored a pitiful 43 goals in 156 games over 5 seasons.

    You are living in the past when we are trying to win the league in the present, the present being that everyone and their dug is skint. End of story.

    we only needed 1 goal hammer against hibs and we would have won that league, instead we got willo flood and no offence to the man that was the worst signing celtic have made in some time. We would have been better off signing no one.

    Its like the board don't know how they got themselves into business, speculate to accumulate, football is risky, can the board grow some * balls please and get us this title back.

    really find it hard to believe rangers are going for 4 in a row,find it even harder to believe the celtic board still have people defending them.what will it take? 5 in a row 6,7,8 til people start getting angry?
