I’d keep him just loan him out again, big tank of a defender that would be very useful long term. Would even be useful to throw into defensive mid to clean * out.

    Looks a player.

If they're not buying him, we should loan him to Hibs or Aberdeen.

Flexing using the basics, doubt we’ll ever see another single minute of him in a Celtic strip.

Can’t see him coming back and making an impact.

Don’t think he fits Ange’s style like others have said.

Doesn’t mean he won’t be a good player but he is very raw.

I mean if we end up making a few million quid off the back of him then why not, some of the biggest clubs in the world get young players in who hardly play for the first team loan them out and make millions.

We should be doing the same, don’t see Liam Shaw or O’Connell getting game time here either so we’ll them and make some profit.

Agreed. As long as it's not as a right back.

Would be daft not to at least see how he is in pre-season. Has all the physical attributes to be a decent player, with the right experience.

Should have him as part of the squad for pre season at least.

Appreciate it is easy to make an average player look good using short clips but he has two qualities that we sometimes lack - strength and speed.

Would be keen to see some match reports from the games he’s played in over there.

OSAZE URHOGHIDE is waiting to see where his future lies after his loan spell expired.

The Celtic defender spent the second half of the season out in Belgium at Oostende and is yet to see a permanent bid being made

Urhoghide joined the Parkhead club at the start of July last year, penning a four-year deal after moving from Sheffield Wednesday.

He saw very little football at Celtic under Ange Postecoglou but was handed a shock start in the Europa League clash with Real Betis in December.

With Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt the starting pair and Stephen Welsh and Christopher Jullien ahead of him, he sought regular football in the Pro League.

It was the same route Scotland international Jack Hendry took before carving out a successful career to date in Belgium.

It took Urhoghide time to break into the Oostende team but finished a mainstay, playing the full game in the final seven games of the campaign.

They finished 12th in the 18-team top flight, with the club openly admitting they wanted to keep the defender on.

Despite only costing a development fee, Celts could look to land a sound profit on their investment.

Oostende Chief Executive Gauthier Ganaye said the defender was currently too costly, with three years remaining in his Celtic contract.

He said Urhoghide has proved to be an excellent addition, but the problem is he is still too expensive for us.

"But I hope we can work out a solution with Celtic, then I would be very happy because we really want to keep Osaze."

Urhoghide also appears keen to continue his football with the Belgians, saying: "I will be very happy if I still play at Oostende next season. I'm having a great time here, but I also felt great at Celtic!"

Young enough that I'd be willing to see him given a go with our mostly settled team under Ange now.

But wouldn't be all that sad to see him go, just frustrated that we've picked two talents from Sheff Wednesday and neither appear to have meant anything

Fully agree, he's raw but a full season playing week in week out with a team like Aberdeen would massively bring him on.

I've a weird feeling we'll loan him to Broony at Fleetwood.

Thought there were reports about him refusing to be loaned out to a Scottish prem team?

I would see how he does pre season before deciding on loaning him anywhere. He looks like he has a lot of good attributes and is versatile so could come in handy.

If he doesn’t impress then a loan to Broony’s team is a great shout @DublinCeltic92. If he impresses in England then his value would be a lot higher than if he impressed at a Sheep/Hibs etc.

    I trust Ange entirely.

Fast, powerful and strong. But it doesn't always equate to a good player.
