Will Mowbray walk if we fail to win on Saturday - Not a draw but a win !!!! I was willing to give him time, but it`s wearing thin - Mowbray says we still have the currant bhuns to play twice, but we cant even beat the worst Aberdeen side in memory yes them who took 94mins to scrape a draw againt the mighty raith rovers.....we would be better off with 4 TRAFFIC Cones at the back.

It hurts, these players that come in dont have a scoobie about us, and the passion we feel, and not to metion when we go to work and get all the * off not just rangers fans but all the other second teams[ killie/rangers etc], who say they are interested, players like Doyle, Aitken etc, and such were men who would bleed for you, just take a look at samaras, walks about like a prima donna, too many * like him.

I want to see a Manager who`s out there telling them to get stuck in - smith does it with their lot cos he knows what it means. . was not Lennon`s biggest fan but at least he cares for the club.... there is not one player in that team that will stick the "Boot" in like that animal McCulloch does for them.....as for scott brown he can beat it

These days are pretty much gone - it's all about the money honey.

Caldwell had the captaincy of Celtic umpteen times, played to sell out crowds in wins on big Euro CL nights at one of the best stadias in the world - got offered more money that all of the Lisbon Lions ever dared to dream about & then sized up his options with his mentor & (in his words) kinda a second father Gordon Strachan - to finally sign for EPL yo-yo's Wigan!

    Says it all.

Also O'Dea, McGeady & Caddis were in the team against the draw at Pittodrie - 1 did ok, 1 scored a goal & 1 was pure pish & got sent off - the 1 with the red card has captained Celtic in the last few months. Keane will tell you he's Celtic daft.

What the * does knowing about Celtic have to do with anything?

How much did Larsson & Mjallby know about us when they signed?

Maybe Rasmussen & Hooivelt will show you that it is the man who counts, not where he is from.

Well lets just say i would rather have a Roy Aitken type character in that team to kick some arses - we have 11 guys not one scottish who are all playing as individuals. i dont want some guy just coming in and just picking his wages up.

    fighters

Listen for gods sake,I was in the jungle on the monday night when 10 men won the league, people who knew when they were not beat and what they played for, knew what it is like to face all the scum on a monday morning and for the rest of the week, that season after, Celtic went down to 10 men numeros times ansd still won games same in the Centenary year, never gave up, that is our spirit, would Jock Stien have stood for all this, dont * think so, and I for one wont either, maybe as you said foreign players dont, but they get to know, just look at Sutton,Hartson even Thompson all loved scoring against the huns, so we do need some one with passion and fighters.

OK lets bring back McManus, he'll run through walls for you & he's Scottish & Celtic through & through...but he's *.

    Same with O'Dea - but he's ROI.

It's attitude - remember when Lubo scored 2 on his OF debut at CP?

He didn't have a * clue what hit him, the noise, the players jumping on him, the mentalness that went on around him as he swept the ball into the net.

Lubo didn't have a * clue about Celtic or the OF rivalries, neither did Larsson, Mjallby, Petrov or Bobo - but they were all winners & they did exactly what your talking about with The Bear, but it took a bit of time.

McManus & O'Dea on the other hand have no chance of being remembered as anything other than useless might've beens.

So what does knowing anything about Celtic have to do with anything?

Being Celtic orientated has nothing to do with how well you're going to play for the club.

    You are right mate :50:

Big Jock Stein would have kicked * all over the place, and no referee or linesman would have dared * all over him and Celtic.

But look at what we have now running the show, Punch and Judy who have made us a laughing stock, and are frightened to question any of the tough decisions that have gone against us. Instead we have these two Mowbray and Grant. Mowbray shoe gazing and holding his head in his hands, and Grant sitting like a dummy in the dug out box.

We have been shortchanged by the board with these two clowns in the dugout.

I was seriously concerned when TM said in an interview a few weeks ago that he ' never watched Celtic last season'

    not RC

Sadly if you dont know what it is to play for the hoops, what chance have we got, dont mean they have got to be RC or such as long as they go out there and burst a gut, too many * about that park, and it's about how you use the players that you have got, we all know what captain calamatus was like last season, so dont let the shirt shrink to fit, for * sake.

That's good we're getting there Hartson was actually more of a Rangers fan before he signed for us - after "they" knocked him back.

Being Celtic minded means * all - to begin with.

It means everything to end with.

Larsson was crying tears of sadness as he left CP after his last game, as he was on his way to that footballing backwater the Camp Nou, Barcalona.

Lubo left a * legend & was one of the happiest footballers I've ever seen when he scored.

Did anyone notice Rasmussen after his 1st goal for Celtic - he got booked for over celebrating, tell me he isn't passionate & has a will to win & score goals - give him a chance against Rangers & he will most likely run through a wall of Huns to put the ball in the net.

I'm pretty sure Hooivelt will do the same at the opposite end, to stop a goal going in against Them.

Mowbray has brought players with a passion to win, they will learn to love Celtic & if they are deserving we will love them for giving their all to win - it doesn't start with knowing about us & what we are - you've got to have it within you in the 1st place, guys like McManus & O'Dea just don't...shame, but we can't all have it

ask yourself this with the same players at his disposal than mogga has would wattie be at the top or worse,we have tried so many defenders this season and every1 has had the same results they cant all be * or we have an even bigger problem,so this suggests the problem lies in formation / tactics but have to also say that injury and lack of a settled back line could just as easily be the cause of poor defending.
we have had poor results in the league, player turnover ? i dont think so ,poor referees /bad decisions, we also know that when your playin well this dont matter cause winning games takes the focus of poor decisions ,its only when you dont win you look for the cause.
no matter wot team we put out in spl games we should be winning against them ,only rangers should really pose a problem to us ,our results seem to suggest a team trying to become the third force ,that is big problem.
since advocaat ,every new old firm manager has won the title in the first year with the exception to guess who ,yes le guenn.
i would love mogga to turn it round and get a fekin break with injuries, reffs being lucky can make a huge difference but a hate to say i dont think its gonna happen for him with us.

Bringing back McManus was meant to be ironic...ffs.

It is meant to serve as proof that "knowing what it means to play for Celtic" (to paraphrase your good self) means hee haw, if you are a total diddy.

McManus was Celtic born & bred, true Scotsman Captain of club & country - who would "burst a gut" as you say.

Aye & he's also a * donkey, your points really don't add up mate.

Hooivelt will be a much better option & he didn't have a * clue about Celtic till a few weeks ago - but he'll soon learn & I think he already has the correct attitude required as a man & as a player - the Celtic stuff he can learn later, it's the least important aspect right now.

    Too many to name.
How many of Moggas signings have been duds so far.........absolutely none! It's the ones WGS left behind that struggle to adapt to Moggas system. We have an awesome forward line, decent midfield and reliable attacking full backs. Thompson is still a kid, put in a no-win situation and O'Dea is a headless chicken. I see what he's trying to achieve and will back him to the hilt. He did try to sign class defenders without success in January. No matter who took the job, it would have been a thankless task. We will salvage some pride before the seasons over and I'm confident we'll be flying next season..............KEEP THE FAITH!!!

Just because you have been watching Celtic since 1968 that does not make your opinion of Tony Mowbray any more valid.

If you don't like the guy then that's up to you. I do like him and I think if he's given time he'll give me what I want - exciting football and trophies.

These endless discussions about Mowbray are like a broken pencil....pointless.

TM is under the screw at Celtic park.....a very tight one...or he should be otherwise we are all in the sh*T.

We've got the worst away form I can remember and one......yes one, single game to DU at home to bring back some momentum.

After that its Castle, * greyskull to visit Sauron and his knuckle trailer crew.

(I know that Sauron doesn't actually live at Castle greyskull....but you get the picture).

This OF game will make or break him as I believe many of the "we love Tony" crew will throw toys and sh*t a brick once they see a 13 point gap and rampant orcs laughing their * off.

If we win.....well I'll be * delighted and surprised but he will still be under the kosh .. and deservedly so.......he has proven dire with tactics.

If the board have said to TM - scrap this season, dont matter about results, build your team but we demand the league next season, then fair enough.
But is that viable for a club who want to win something every year? Will a Scottish Cup be enough if we finish 20 points adrift?
Yes there needs to be a rebuilding period - but not at the cost of the clubs credibility.
Rangers sacked Le Guen for making an * of it - look at them now.
Change might be a good thing.

Interesting point with all the "its a transitional time of change so its ok that we are utter gash - cmon lets hug Tony".

Plenty of clubs have times of transition but we've had a wholesale clear out!!! Could be that the board have said on ye go TM next years your year.......
