Yes of course we'd do everything we could but Legia pointing the finger at Celtic (when UEFA were the ones that reported Legia and made the decision) is a joke.

As I've said I sympathise, and wouldn't be entirely against the idea even if just to save face given that Legia seem intent on making sure we're seen as the scum of Europe by accusing Celtic of being the ones that made the decision by not requesting to UEFA that they bend their rules, and by now issuing an open letter ensuring we look like yellow * if we refuse (not quite sure where the 'honour' is here on Legia's part as it's practically bribery, but nevermind).

But bottom line is Legia must start pointing the finger in the direction of UEFA. If UEFA change their minds then so be it, I don't think many people associated with Celtic would have any complaints.

It would be a glorified friendly. UEFA wouldn't recognise it. :smiley-laughing002:

Surely time for UEFA to step in and enforce there decision. Fine these * again for trying to undermine the governing body.

What Legia have to do is shift focus from the innocent party to the administration staff that just had them removed from a competition despite winning a 2 legged affair comfortably.

    Their frustrations are misplaced.

We should agree to the One off decider but they have to play the banned player so they get kicked out again. That should be our only stipulation.

Do you think the board and backroom staff at Celtic would be let off as lightly as those at Legia Warszawa have been?

Some Legia fans are too busy blaming everyone but the people at their club.

Is legia run by a bunch of 1600 knights? Talking about honour as it was to settle a family dispute.
This case is not about the games, its about them making an admin error, and now they are gone. Its just silly attempt, which in my opinion is very unprofessiobal, calling us cowards and using media. The only one making a fool of them selves are Legia.

Believe me, I really have nothing against Celtic and I know that it was UEFA who launched the investigation but:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-League-place-says-Polish-football-chief.html

Thats the reason, people are angry about, which means its not entirely true, celtic had nothing to with it. People responsible for it in Warsaw´s management have already been fired. Now it´s time to appeal

Just deal with it Legia, and focus on qualifying for the Europa. Your admin team made the mistake, you only have yourselves to blame.

I hope this cheap nasty stunt by those animals convinces any remaining sympathisers on our side to finally see them for what they are.

Absolutely shameful, despicable attempt to shift the blame onto us when we rightfully will refuse to be drawn into this.

    Absolute * scum.

PS - I hope Celtic reply publicly stating that Legia are dragging their name through the footballing mud by resorting to these tactics. They won't mind (and neither they should) but it would be great to see. Utter *.

Do you believe everything you read in the papers?

To me it's clear Legia are pointing the finger in our direction and trying to use the media to discredit us into asking UEFA to reverse the decision. Until Celtic issue a statement confirming the above I'm dismissing it as bullshit for the simple fact that UEFA have a duty to enforce their own rules, and allowing Celtic to have their say in UEFA's disciplinary matters would be a clear conflict of interest and hence an obvious no-no.
