If it were Celtic who fielded an ineligible player and were thrown out,I would honestly be angry with the Celtic management team ,not UEFA or the other team.

I agree with everything here but regardless of the money, it's about UEFA doing the right thing when a suspended player has been played when he should have been. Legia * it up, but they are so determined to ignore this fact and try and make Celtic the bad guys in this for not letting them go through.

I do believe it was a genuine * up on their part. I don't think they deliberately done it, BUT they screwed up and that's the bottom line of it. If they registered Bereszynski for the St. Pat's tie then they would be through and they wouldn't be embarrassing themselves like this.

They are actually trying to divert how stupid they have been and direct some sort of blame towards Celtic and UEFA.

Four people fired by Legia today over the registration issue which saw them forfeit second game against @celticfc.

I heard their owner on ssn earlier saying that celtic should act like men and do the honourable thing, they really need to suck it up.

 

If it was a "simple" clerical error then how come your club * it up? I could understand if it was something complicated, but, like you say, it was a "simple" error.

Your club is embarrassed about their mistake and that it's cost them but they are trying to show up Celtic and UEFA by moaning about "calls not being returned" and "but we beat Celtic 6-1".

If your admin team were more aware of what they were doing your team would be in the Play-Off's now, but they * it up and were punished.
