The first choice centre half pairing is from Celtic and we provide an entire midfield to choose from with Brown being an automatic pick and Hartley playing more often than not.

If Mark Wilson hadn't been so unlucky in his career with injuries he'd have racked up a good few caps by now as well.

Siz or 7 players we would have representing Scotland if they were fit, which is not bad considering we play football in a generation totally dominated by money and you don't have the time to nurture homegrown talent.

except Aidan:icon_mrgreen:. Problem Aidan and McCarthy have is being made of plastic they could easily melt if they has to play in a world cup in a hot place like south Africa:56:Afraid when it comes to this I am still well gutted and every time internatonals come around it starts all over. I am extra angry with him this time because we could really have done with him more than ever. Feel very let down by him and that wont go away until he is retired.

remember one thing lads you pick players to play for their country from different teams!! celtic players do not have the right to be picked no matter what! and that goes for all other teams too.

Seems the O/Per drops the negative thread and runs after getting roundly derided...

Still 2 negative threads in one afternoon isn't bad work really.. Might see a third before the suns set - wonder what contrived argument he'll pick up on this time?

In fact of the 4 threads on the front page of the Celtic Chat, all 4 are downtrodden crap.

    1. Our strikers are crap
    2. Not enough Celts made the Scotland squad
    3. How come Doumbe merited a contract
    4. The obligatory who should replace Strachan.

Did we loose the league cup? Did we not just beat the huns for the first time in 20 years in a cup final?

We have a few decent Scottish Players not getting picked M.Brown & Wilson plus the youngesters that will be swarming the national team in a few years time unless we go to Team GB

Just as long as they come back injury free would hate to lose any of these guys at this time of the season to injury key players for us.
