sure it came out when he had left that he nearly took the leeds job when they where still in the EPL while he was still at celtic. He supposedly came close a few times to leaving celtic over the board not backing him in the transfer market.
I have had my suspicions there was more to him leaving than his wife being ill.
I'd have him back in a heartbeat but still blame him for losing the league in 2005 for not postponing his decision to leave until the title had been won.

I am just stunned at the moment . First Milner , then Ashley and now the final nail has been hit in our dead wood. I am unsure about our future now , we need a top quality manager in but there are few available . Perhaps Martin Jol would be our best bet .
