You'll realise we are a Europa League team and this defeat is a blessing in disguise. We would have been damaging the clubs name in Europe in the CL this year.
As sore as it is right now, we'll be transitioning this year again, like lennons first year in charge.
Dont blame the manager as such a lot of the players didnt show up...Stokes, Johanson, Ambrose, Mulgrew awful.

I was dreading getting into CL this year as I really believed we could have ended up with nil points. Time to re group in Europa. Bet Dundee fancy there chances now though!

I don't see the loss of revenue as a blessing but it may well be good experience for the players. Atletico done well using the EL route and Benfica before them
The BIG difference is our * TV money and no league sponsorship worth the term. We will be hurt by this. Lower crowds = lack of atmosphere ---leading to lower crowds = less money to spend next year
not a good way forward but we have no alternative this season -
I'd rather have no Europe for this season and let Ronny bring in the players he wants and get us playing the way he wants, at this point we aren't anything special in terms of the Europa League.

We're still a work in progress...... we would have been embarrassed in the CL, though £15 million means a lot to the club.
However we're at the beginning of a project and when you're in the initial stages there'll be many setbacks, just like Strachan and Lenny. We'll see how we respond to them,that'll determine what kind of manager Ronny is. -
