    Shame.

I thought he'd turn a trick for us.

We got Commons instead so I don't think we can complain about the penny pinching.

Huseklepp isn't a forward. I would say he is the same as Commons. Attack minded winger or in the hole. Oh and if they want more than Celtic think he is worth I'm with Celtic I wouldn't pay more than it. If we really needed , wanted or thought he was worth it then it would have been paid.

Huseklepp's a striker. Also, he is easily worth what Bari paid for him. We clearly wanted him, otherwise we wouldn't have gone in for him. Penny-pinching.

Well I read the threads the same as the rest of you and I was excited about the guy, but what I took from the info given was that he was a sort of RW. If what you're saying is true and he is just a ST then his goal scoring record is not as good as I thought it was.

I think that he was worth it to Bari, a desperate team struggling against relegation, doesn't mean that he was worth it for us. We went out and got Commons instead, for free. I don't know how anyone can argue with that as being better business.

Also I've totally forgotten how this Huseklepp stuff started in the Damari thread so apologies.

Yeah I read that earlier and thought about this post :56:

May as well have been free for how good he has been. Still better business than giving Brann an extra £300k or so on top of 1.5 million for a guy who wouldn't have scored nearly as many.

you're so fixated on Huseklepp as a winger. he isn't. he is a striker who in the past has played as a winger. the only thing i can think confusing you is what i've seen of him he drifts outside inwards when attacking like Henry did for Arsenal (no, i'm not saying he is Henry).
