man i could play that game for hours and hours
that game had so much in it
Super Mario Bros was the first and still one of the best
but my interest fell for when i learned all about warping
and easily scooted the game to the end in matter of minutes
time after time, yes you could warp in 2 and 3 but in those
it didn't matter so much
i liked Super Mario Bros 2 a lot too
it opened so many new things
you could pick up your enemies
and there were keys to find and all kind of
other stuff and other secrets -

*,its kinda simple mate tbh.....first of all the parts...
1.PC (old) or if new (as in up to date) to run PS2 games on.
2.Arcade sticks,2x8 way sticks and maybe a 4 way (pac man etc)
3.Buttons
4.an ipac keyboard encoder
5.Screen
6.Wood/bezel/paint etc.
* this is not mine but similar, mines was smaller*
Its a great project guys tbh....took me a couple of months last year.
This program runs the games, its a frontend called hyperspin.

I think I remember talking to you a few months back about the lcd pinball table :50: -
Is this the nes the one before the snes?
If so I've got one up my loft still alongside my snes. My favourite games for it were Mario 1 and 3. Truly amazing games with Mario 3 the best on the console.
Action in America was one of the most fun games, first really shooting game I got into.
Special mention too duck hunt, loved playing that with my gun attatchment.
Special mention also to the legend of Prince Valiant, teenage mutant ninja turtles and excitebike. -

Gameplay: Mario 3, no other NES game comes close (even Mario World was poor in comparison).
Graphics: Gremlins 2 or Mega Man. Capcom could do some awesome things with the colour limitations the NES had, especially at the clone level near the end of Mega Man.
Personally I'd recommend against console emulation for the older systems, they don't seem to run at the right speed and you can pick up the systems and games for peanuts these days. Keep a good CRT telly around because old games look * on modern tellies. -

when you reached the Moon Stage(level) and heard that music
your jaw dropped and only thing that you wanted was
just listen to it
all of the Batman stage music was perfect
Journey to Silius music was just brilliant -
Blades of steel was brilliant on the nes
