    Agree entirely with this chap.
    And what's the deal with everyone thinking we are guarunteed to do well down there??
    For all we know we could go and get * pumped every week!

    Football in general needs to be overhawled. Wage caps on players for a kick off, no more crazy £100mill bids and more proper investment into grassroots and youth development programmes.

    Businessmen have undoubtedly * up the 'beautiful game'.

    Sounds to fishy, just as the economic crisis hits the world they now want us to play in the EPL but cough up 100m in the process.

    No way we would pay a hundred mill on the bases that we might do well. What happens if we get relegated from the epl2 then we are * with 50 mill worth of debt. Too risky imo

    Think he might just be saying that as he knows we will top his team year after year, even at £100million its a good deal you will get that back very quickly down there with all the deals you get.

    Think its a good idea in my opinion fair enough it would take us 1 maybe 2 years to get ourselves promoted into the main EPL, we would then challenge for a top 8 place within 3/4 seasons in my opinion

    selling our souls just for a few bucks more ain't worth it. celtic are a scottish club with irish links and belong to the SPL. no matter how * it is, it's our home. all you see is money and glory. no one guarantees glory will be found down south. what if there will be a collapse and their teams are forced to sell their best players, the niveau of the league would decrease rapidly and enormously.

    I say no to sell out our tradition and soul just for a few dollars more.

    why change we're ok as we are the now. just bite the bullet and stick it out for a few years and watch that league go down the swanny

    answer me this why change evrything give up the CL and have to endure inflated season ticket prices . in one of the most sucessful period's in our history ? :97:

    :rolleyes: I think the the top 4 in epl will be playing in a european super league in a few years & that we would be better off trying to join them rather than replace them in england as thats the real story behind this news they only want us as they fear the big clubs leaving imo.
