Think Alsy is spot on. It's the police's way of trying to negotiate a bigger pay for handling these games.

More trouble would generate from playing behind closed doors.

Im sure I read an article last week that the Old Firm game is one of Scotland's biggest sources of revenue bigger than Edinburgh castle and all the Americans that visit it. SO I doubt they will wipe that out as a previous poster has said its a way for the police to demand more cash. Talkin about the police. * is going on when there is a foul? The police decide to put an officer every 5 feet along the stands as soon as there is a foul then 5 mins later they all get called back in! I was sitting in the Jock Stein last night and it was * laughable. What did they expect a full on crowd invasion just because someone was brought down as usual over-reacting! * idiots

This is the worst idea of the decade because most of the 60,000 fans in the stadium would most likely go to the pub for the game. Just imagine 60,000 extra old firm fans on the streets would be bedlam !!! Would love to meet the guys that try and make these ludicrous decisions.

I propose that they hold the game without telling anyone where and when it will be played!!!

Also put the entire country on curfew until 24 hours AFTER the game - anyone caught outside their house will be subject to death.......most humane way would be by Firing Squad!!

    Anyone else agree?

its nonsense how last nights game seems to have brought Scotland to DEFCON1; the self righteous hyperbole is breathtaking as it is embarrassing

don't mind if the games at ibrox is closed doors, but there don't seem to be anything wrong having them at parkhead, and that will need to be thrashed out, don't let the * away with that, and the media

i wish someone would come out with HARD facts about last nights game and point them out to the SFA.

    - Bookings! 13 in total 3 for celtic, 10 for the huns

    - who caused the tention? in my eyes it was Poof when he ran over to lennon after the goal and started all his gob!

    - Arrests in Celtic Park, this is the only part i dont know about maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject. Out off the 33 arrests how many was Celtic fans, how many were Rangers fans and what were the arrests for?

I * hate being tared with the same brush as that * filth and the SFA yet again points the finger at us for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Disgusting!

Win Win situation for the police. They'll either demand more money to police Old Firm games or if by some sort of nonsensical miracle the old firm games do end up behind closed doors they'll be policing 50,000+ protestors on the streets of Glasgow, either way it's overtime for the coppers.
