Whats this the less he plays crap about? If you keep a player on the bench is that supposed to increase his confidence? Mccourt should be given a 4 or 5 game run.Starter every game. If his confidence grows, he will get better and better.keeping him on the bench is * STUPID!!! Give him a * break.

The central defence was really worrying today, Maj didn't paly great by any means, but he was a * site better than Loovens – who looks totally devoid of confidence. Maj was continually giving him pep-talks, trying to build him up in the second half.

I'm not one for building players up who haven't been in the team for a while, but if Rogne is fit, surely, he's got to be a better bet in the centre than Loovens at the moment?

I would like to see Rogne playing beside Charlie ,We have'nt seen enough of Rogne due to injury but when he plays he can play ,I reckon those 2 could potentially be a good double act .

I know were CentreHalf is coming from with McCourt ,I don't see him as a starter but he has to be used more than what he has ,he makes things happen when the game is stale .

Have I missed something here with Rogne, remember him playing not to bad a few times, having a pretty good game at Ipox, but then being totally out played in league cup final, in fact he was that bad Loovens had to come on, something i'm just not getting?

Good win some decent stuff attacking wise.

Defence Loovens and Dan was having a battle between them to see who could be the biggest * donkey.

Both are a * joke and if we do not sort out the defences in jan once and for all we will not win the title .

A better side would have taken us apart today i dread to think what Antonio Di Natale will do to them .

Worried a bit here about our defence. But not panicking. If we can press teams in the midfield and bang in goals maybe defence is not such an issue.

Attack is the best form of defence as they say :celt_2:

Think though that's one of the big issues, to be able to press the game high up the park your centre halfs have gotta have a bit pace, as your always vunreable to a ball over the top.

Exactly, big Dan has been caught out on countless occasions, the minute the ball gets played over his head he panics and gives away needless fouls.

Agree, why we end up no matter the opposition camped on our 18 yard box, inviting teams onto us, happened a lot today, again.:38:

The CB is definately a soft spot, but nothing new there. Has been like that for the better part of a decade.

    papering over the cracks!

right listening to the game yesterday and by the way the commentary team were going on our defence once again is a sham! the simplist of things and we had them all over the place.
today watched a bit of it through youtube link and were simply woeful at the back.

we have also had threads on here with people complaining about this and that but the reality our defence has not been sorted and cos of this ,this is the reason we havent won the league. ok last season we almost and we had the best rec ord etc. but in truth we are * * at the back and have been for 3 years. this has to be dealt with asap now yesterday we got away with it. last week we were destroyed,

we chop and change too much also with the zonal * that does not help our cause. and unless things change soon? then with this defensive car crash we have just now! i doubt very much we will win the league yet again and these * will do the unimanagable with 4ir.

the only thing i found to be excellent yesterday was the outstanding support once more from the fans. and this was mentioned a lot on radio too.

getting a joke now celtic and we cannot keep papering over these cracks any longer or we are on our way down the tubes here. ffs

its getting pretty embarrassing now the way we defend(or not)

Alsy mate, before the huns game last week i posted that we would be lucky
to get a point because our duff defence will let us down and it did..........

i watched the game on a stream yesterday and by *,the back are shocking
not too mention the useless keeper.

we wont stop the 4 with the lucky bag players that we have and the biggest let down
as to why the area has not been addressed

yeah agree mike, fortser is a good shot stopper but comming out and commanding the area he couldnt catch the cold, then we have our * poor defense there also. worrying times comming i think unless this is sorted asap.

I agree and that's the most frustrating part about it.

We've had plenty of opportunities to sort the problem out and haven't spent the cash.

rogne has been bullied by every player he's come up against and he gets caught out of position all the time, he also gives away stupid fouls on the edge of our own box. rogne needs to build up in the gym. having said that. whoever decided that we should start this campaign with loovens still in the side. needs a kick in the baws. wilson hasnt had a good start to his celtic career.....and his injury could be a blessing in disguise for him......go away get fit and try and find a bit of form on the training pitch. it would be a doomsday merchant to give up on the league this early, given how close the last few seasons have been in terms of points on the table. league will be won again by 3 - 5 points. hang in there guys....if it was easy it'd be boring.

You can blame the defenders but us and lenny knew they were crap last year and lenny didnt spend a penny on defending.Just to say all someone did was mention mccourts name and its starts going off topic.why the hate towards paddy?
