I said ban not block ya * gimp.

That’s not paraphrasing thats completely changing words.

Not one counter argument to what I’ve said, just repeated the garbage you’ve said before.

You’re one of the * that claps a goal but gives it 110% when moaning like * at games. Its just boring as *, come with some substance and people will take you seriously. A “fan” that says x player is “*” is the worst thing going.

Anyone writing this kid off his a fool.

    Simple as that.

Not even worth going into his minutes and stats because he made a mistake yesterday so he's pish.

Worse than Sevco fans some of our support.

You're literally just repeating the same arguments and ignoring why they make no sense according to your own logic. You're saying it's too soon to judge him as bad but the 'numbers' show that we can judge him as good. Similarly, you're dismissing bad things he's done as irrelevant but then cherrypicking good things he's done as if they alone are relevant.

I think your stats also undermine your point. One shot all season?! I'll give you that his defensive stats are better than Kyogo's but that's not really saying much, because Kyogo is an actual striker and 5 foot * all. And if Oh is a defensive powerhouse, then why not bring him on earlier in games where we're ahead to see out the game? Why leave him on the bench until the 88th minute in a game where Kyogo is doing nothing but swiping at everything?

He's not shown enough for me to judge him as a good prospect. He needs a loan to go and develop, he's not going to get the game time he needs here while Kyogo's fit.

I dont think the lack of playing time has helped, obviously, but he is going to have to do something with the opportunities he is given which this season so far, he simply hasnt done.

We need a striker who will push and compete with Kyogo and at the moment he isnt it.

    That a fact aye?

Well so far in his Celtic career, he has been extremely disappointing other than a few fleeting moments of positivity.

Other than that, he simply comes on, looses possession and gives away free kicks because he just runs into players.

He's a waste of a jersey, and obviously isn't showing anything of note in training either.

I’m repeating it because neither you or dough heed have a counter argument.

I’m not saying its too soon to judge. I’ve judged him on last season and his numbers are excellent. He’s not even played 90 minutes this season and suddenly he’s bad. Its just an idiotic logic.

I’m also not saying Kyogo should be doing more defensively. If you actually read it i said it clearly shows he’s coming in to do a job in games and see them out. The proof is there. It’s not fair on him, it’s not going to benefit him, but it’s things like that which make Rodgers elite.

I agree he won’t get the time here while Kyogo is fit, thats not the argument. No striker would. But we’ve seen Kyogo injured before so he won’t be getting loaned. He’s our only back up. If another striker comes in the same thing will happen.

IMO, if Oh isn't going to be given starts, the solution is to step away from our usual model and sign an older player happy to play minimal minutes.

Alright, let's revisit this at the end of the season and see whos' right. If he gets a few games and shows what he can do, I'll hold my hands up. I don't see it happening but would be delighted to be proved wrong.

2 friendly games over last few days. Won 4-0 and 6 - 0.

Never got off the bench. He's played 3 mins in their last 4 games. Seriously doubt he's gonna make the squad for Asia cup and given our lack of forwards in January we should be pushing to keep him here.

I don't particularly rate him but suppose he's better than having nobody and he would probably benefit more getting a run of 4 or 5 games here than sitting on the bench for korea

They play Son and Cho Gue-Sung up top don't they? They're both much more established so it's not a huge surprise he's not first choice there, especially given his lack of game time for us. Klinsmann has said previously he rates Oh, so even being around the squad will be a benefit to him.

he must be getting increasingly frustrated at lack of game time for club and country. next time he comes off the bench he has to seize the opportunity and grab a goal if he wants more minutes

It's hard though, he's been coming on very late. However, if the legend that is Klinsmann rates him then that's high praise indeed.

GG seemed to grab a goal though loads of times he came off the bench (not sure on stats for that just hazarding a guess) and that's what Oh started to do last year but this year he hasn't really done an awful lot. I do agree though he does come on late but just need a goal I feel. He's definitely a player though I wouldn't be overly concerned if Kyogo got injured for a couple of weeks

Giakoumakis scored 7 goals coming off the bench for us. Oh has scored 6 goals coming off the bench for us so far.

Giakoumakis also failed to score in his final 10 appearances for us (though his game time did become limited).

ahh ok nice one! Not as good a memory as I thought. Maybe I thought GG was more effective then when he came on that's why I thought he scored more? Regardless I rate Oh but you can see him getting more and more frustrated. If he doesn't really play between now and Jan I can easily see him getting the huff and wanting a move

I think it's fair to say that Giakoumakis was the more complete player which isn't surprising given the stage of his career he was at in comparison to Oh, so Giakoumakis had more visible impact in games.

Oh still has a way to go but needs more game time to prove it. Think you're spot on, he'll not sit around on the bench forever. He hasn't really done anything positive of note this season in his 5 short appearances. Needs to take the opportunities he does get.

Personally thought Giakoumakis had the first touch of a * donkey. But * me he was in the right place at the right time in some big moments.

    Oh lacks that predator-like instinct.
