Errr… perhaps by listing all the ‘positives’ he did tonight.

Funnily enough, they’re also missing from Celtic’s very extensive match report:

With 15 minutes to play, Celtic Park got their first look at new signing Hyengyu Oh, who came off the bench for his Paradise debut.

But there would be no goal for the South Korean with the first-half goals enough in the end.

All for being positive about new signings. But he did nothing tonight (not a slight on him, the game was dead). Let’s cut the hyperbole and give him praise once he actually gets a proper run.

You just know this guy is going to be an absolute player. No one was scoring in the last 20/30 mins tonight and Oh didn’t get a sniff of a goal but still looked very tidy.

He’s scoring a header on Sunday.

 

Game was flat when he came on and long gone..

Did work hard and showed his awareness and link up play by popping nice wee ball over the head of their left back for one move. Also took a touch in the box and decent wee lay-off after that..

 

Need for him ta start a game so we can all have a proper gander at him..

Ange was chasing him for ages so I have absolutely no fear he will be a success

People getting excited about a new player. Shock. Horror. Has anyone over done it? I can't see a single post that has overhyped him.

There were lots of positives in both of his appearances. Next time you're at Celtic Park, open your * eyes.

Let’s hope he gets a proper run out on Sunday and we can then rave about the actual positives - accompanied with clips.

Serious bang of "Divorced Da with too much time on their hands" about you mate

 

I'm with G4OB, too early to judge. Like I thought Ajeti was going to be great based on his first couple of games, thought he was exactly what we needed and so did a number of others. Got to give it time, fingers crossed he comes good.

 

Will get his first goal and kick on.

The subs killed the game, was a non-event second half

Forgot about that, TBF I think most were wanting Ange punted at that stage too. It was wild on here… maybe I should write, it gets wild on here

 

Yes, me too, was wanting him on early.
I suspect Ange reckons that, with his lack of game time in the past 2 months, that he needs to drip feed him in, build up his game time gradually. He does look mobile, seems to have good awareness, can pick out a pass.
Small steps at a time but looking positive for me, just have to live with his limited game time management right now.
I suspect that if Kyogo was unable to start on Sunday, Oh would not start.

 

When is the correct time to start forming an opinion? Just so the rest of TC know when its cool to pass comment on a new player

 

Drip feeding game time is fine, but he could have been brought on a bit earlier, too.

 

He came on when we just wanted to controll the game and play it out but he look like he has some nice movement. Impossible to judge him now.
