I agree. Korean people who might visit here will take us for a bunch of tossers who can't discuss seriously. Regarding the choice of Oh's song, there's probably a South Korean army tune that could be played over the tannoy, or something.

An interesting link between South Korea and Scotland is the Auld Lang Syne- used to be the tune the (South) Korean anthem was played to until 1948. The current tune is different (also incredible), but the words haven't changed. Auld Lang Syne is sad though, and we in Croatia know it as the "Goodbye song". Not something to play when a player scores?

I don't know what it is about this player, but he seems like a good guy to me.

He's not as quick as them. He's somewhere inbetween GG and Kyogo. Has nice blend of power and pace. Not as slow as GG but not quite as nippy off the mark as Kyogo.

 

Interesting. I thought he looked really quick, much quicker than Jackie and probably Kyogo as well from his clips..

 

He's probably very fast at longer distances, but doesn't accelerate like Kyogo or Maeda can.

Ajer was slow on the turn and no that quick off the mark...but was easily the quickest in our squad back then..

 

Aw he's still quick....the reason I stuck him inbetween Kyogo and GG is because Kyogo is a bit more nippy off a standing start but Oh beats him over distance and certainly has much more power. He's noticeably quicker than GG in both scenarios though. Chases the ball down really well aswell so will be excellent for our press.

He looks a nightmare to come up against. Think he'll win so many battles..

I loved how much Jackie could occupy a back line with his physicality. He definitely lacked the first touch and link up play to bring others in to play often enough though. Wasn't the type to get the ball back to goal and turn and beat a man either..

Oh looks like he can do all of that. Probably won't be as deadly, certainly no as good a first time finisher as Jackie....but looks like he'll fit us perfectly..

 

I think he looks a better all round player than GG. As clinical? Not sure but we need to wait and see.

He's aggressive and looks a handful to play against. One thing I didn't like about GG was sometimes he tried to sell fouls which didn't work when the better option was to just hold onto the ball for that extra few seconds and lay it off. Oh battles away for it and it will take some doing to get him on the deck.

I think we'll see him on the pitch tomorrow
