I think Welsh will still be here. Not sure we will get rid of 3 centre backs all at once and he does at least count as club trained for Europe.

Getting Lagerbielke and Kobayashi out the door, and bringing in a top centre back to play along with CCV is what I’d be targeting right now. We have 6 centre backs, we could do to get that down to 5.

Good news, we need a smaller squad with better quality players available.

 

I think our business will depend alot on outgoings so hopefully get a few out the door ASAP

 

Wouldn't be surprised, only hitch is we need teams to actively WANT them unless they are being released.

It's not ideal, but I can get why we aren't just going out and bringing in x amount of players already - we can't just have an inflated squad of misfits and add further to it. In an ideal world you do it the other way round (bring in the good guys, get rid of the wanks) but hey ho.

 

I imagine that happens most seasons. Some will be aware there is no place like Shaw and McCarthy but they won't leave. If we can get 6 senior players to leave permanently I think we'd probably have done well.

We only have 3 more loan spaces to give out too. Our 6 loans will be wastes on getting players away rather than development.

 

Who are the other 2 players out on loan just tilio.

Kenny and bernabei are out but they are from last season and the old system so uneffect the 6 rule for this season

 

Our squads massive so it has to be done. Probably the hardest part of the window is getting/convincing some of these on good wages to depart..

Cpr example there's no chance we're signing a centre back yet when we've got about 6 on the books. We'll need to shift 2 or 3 of Kobayashi, Lagerbielke, Welsh, Nawrocki etc if we're to get a couple of good ones in..

 

Hope he goes on to have a solid career.
