Not going to go on a rant but say a few things.

First of all, we didn't have that creative edge. Crosas done his usual disspearing act and Hartley was tame after his yellow.

Aiden should have started, but even still without him we should have been more of a threat.

And I don't care what you Naka lovers say, how many crosses did he have 12+? at least and how many were decent? Very very few. Luxury player and we needed a big performance from him today.

re: Hesselink - WGS had little choice in the striker department and there was a big issue of getting height into this team of wee men.

Re; Aidan - I agree, Aidan is a useful player but he is a blunt intrument. He basically has dribbling and pace and the ability to drag the line up higher but lacks a lot of the finer points that Maloney has. On a touchline that was absolutely saturated the ball would have got caught in his feet and raw pace would not have worked. I actually thought Maloney did considerably more than McGeady today. On a dry pitch with them both totally fit I would have liked to have seen both on.

It was not a fluke goal Gunt,it was a very well worked goal and if we had of scored it,there is no way in * you would describe it as a fluke.

Maloney, Naka, McGeady, Crosas is about as creative as you can get in SPL terms. It was actually risky to play so many wee ball players in MF. Honestly, you have to go a long way back to find a Celtic team with so many wee talented wide players. Funny thing is the Burns and Barnes eras probably had more than any other in the last 20 years but they failed too. Football just can be a * and tactical often wins. Look at Greece wining the European Championship. No disrespect to them but they were nowhere near the most talented team.

:97: Agreed but thats not what I am saying. On the day we had no creative edge. We could have played for another hour and not created a clear cut chance. The players might be creative but today we didn't have that edge.

Even though we had the creative players on the park, I don't think that they were effective. Barring Nakamura's cross to JVOH when he nearly scored with a header, I can't think of many occasions where Maloney or Nakamura created a chance for us.

Gunt, their goal was no fluke mate. Miller used pace to get in behind Hinkel and whipped a lovely ball across goal that was just waiting for a runner to come on to. That's basic football tactics and we were caught sleeping.

We have the players to get in behind them and yet the way we set out today almost everything went through the middle, through a very deep, very ineffective Crosas. There was no drive there whatsoever which meant we relied on throwing high balls up time after time only to see them mopped up easily.

Everyone in Scotland knows this hun team can defend high balls but they're very suspect on the ground being run at, but we persisted with the high balls and persisted with an anonymous midfielder for the duration of the biggest game of our season. For that I hold the manager culpable. He has other players at his disposal he refused to use yet everyone who seen that match today could see from the first 10 mins that Crosas was nowhere near the play. I don't think maloney was that bad to be honest, but again there was no-one in the middle of the park driving forward. He had to keep looking for O'Dea on the overlap as there was no runners from midfield.

i'd have never of guessed that you'd be posting to say what a good game Maloney had, or maybe i did. FFS Please change the record Maloney has nothing on Mcgeady and never has.

Please remember that Maloney shat on Celtic and then came running back when the grass was not greener. How many games will we ever get out of Maloney before he's back on the table again? And when he's fit where will he be off to.

    In your opinion of course.

Maloney wasn't great but neither was McGeady in amonst the tired legs.

The 2nd paragraph tells me the real reason that you don't like him. Clearly no for football reasons either.
